It was more fun writing them than I thought it would be.
After much consideration we have accepted three applicants into the Review Panel: Riley, BuilderBrothers, and Nichartri.
Congratulations, and many thanks to all of the applicants. Applications will remain open for the time being, though we are unlikely to accept anyone else who has already applied.

Well done they all deserve it.
I hope people don't feel too bad about not getting in -- the fact is we were only looking to add a few people, and we got more applications than I expected - 18, I believe.
That's too bad, I liked reviewing films!

Indeed, if somebody were to show genuine and significant improvement in their reviewing they might be able to get in still. But we're not desperate for more reviewers at this point. Perhaps the best option would be to just keep reviewing films in the forums and wait a while until reapplying -- currently not planning to close applications for a while though we probably won't check them as often for now.
I'm failing to see how my application wasn't accepted....

So I'm hoping this means films start getting into the database at a more reasonable speed. I've been waiting for mine since early April.
