Topic: Review Panel Applications Closed
You read that right.
We're looking for applicants to join the review panel. It's not a particularly glamorous job, so the thing that seems to deter people from wanting to review films for the directory on the review panel is actually joining it.
Reviews for the directory should be well-written, and not linger on technical minutia. The purpose of these reviews is not to give the filmmaker feedback, but to help users decide whether or not they should view a particular film in the directory. Panel members are also responsible for confirming content ratings, and rating the films on the "staff ratings" criteria.
If you're interested in joining, please submit two reviews to us by private message to Review Panel; you can do so on this page. Please don't review Brickfilming "classics" such as Grace, Unrenewable or The River. Instead, try reviewing recent releases, perhaps even ones of questionable quality that are just good enough to get a "recommended" status.
Note that we only want serious applicants who will be willing and able to review/process films on a regular basis. We've had several people join, review a couple of films, and never contribute again; it's not particularly helpful.
