No, you're not alone, BM. Too much responsibility

dam it, I wish it was mentioned, I never thought of it
Reviews for the directory should be well-written, and not linger on technical minutia. The purpose of these reviews is not to give the filmmaker feedback, but to help users decide whether or not they should view a particular film in the directory.
It's quite true though, guys. Reading about how the set was a little bare or there were small bumps and light flicker is not interesting, talk about the overall impression of the film and focus on what was done well. If a film is deeply flawed on many levels it would not be likely to be reviewed anyway since we only review recommended films.
We'll accept however many good applicants we get, but that looks so far to be a small percentage of the number of people applying.
This job is way too much work for me!
I don't think I would apply until i've been here for at least a year!

Just to let you know, I wasn't angry in anyway, but after reviewing what I sent you, I think I did okish. In some cases I have lingered on some of the technical stuff, but I believe I tried to link it in with the overall impression of the film. If you think its bad in anyway, tell me, and I'll re do it. I really want this job.

Oh well, at least I tried.
I'm almost tempted to send in more just for the fun of it.
Love me some reviews.
@ smeagol: You changed your avatar. Unexceptable. First you change one thing, then the entire site changes and crashes and turns into another 4chan.
O wait, it's a cat. Nevermind
lol
What a subtle hint you won't fall under the "review a couple of films, and never contribute again" category, legobrickstud.
How often would you be expected to purge through the queue? I could manage like three a week in the long term, don't know if I could do much more than that though.

Welcome to the forums!
If you want help with brickfilming, there are plenty of people here who can help you.
First, I would suggest getting aquainted with the forum.
For technique, you can read through some threads or post your own questions here.
For software that can really help with getting the right lighting/editing well, you can check out these topics
Finally, the Audio subforum can help you with sound effects, voices and what not.
And of course, there's the coffee shop where you can just hang out and talk with fellow filmakers.
Hope you enjoy the site =]

That should be fine, provided you stick to it. I think the minimum Sméagol told me when I joined was two films a week. Remember, also, that you don't have write a review for films that don't receive a recommended rating... lower quality submissions usually take no more than two minutes to review after you watch them.

Why are you and Littlebrick using Lakadasie stuff as an avatar? Just wondering.
Because it's awesome, that's why.

I agree with that notion.
Just wondering - do you have an idea now when the applications will be stopped?
