Sméagol wrote:You only have to submit it by PM. It'd be helpful if you included a link to the film of course.
.I forgo adding a link, but I did add the title and the director. Do I need to resend ?
Oh, ya. Same goes for me.
*edit: Oh, you mean these threads have MULTIPLE PAGES!? ↑ignore
Ooooo! I'm starting the application now!
I've sent my application a little while ago.
I bet most people here just want the customizable name under there avatar.
You don't get mod powers from being in the Review Panel, Lamplight.
This is my application that is sent. You guys can read it, if you care.

"I am a fairly good writer, and I will devote a good portion of my time to this. Just not all, I have a life and still want to make brickfilms!
Review 1: Lego 1582 (Link to film)
"Predictable story plots are very hard to avoid, and this film is a victim of it. This doesn't mean that this film is not entertaining, not at all.
The lower quality animation and sets obliviously from released LEGO sets, did not help, though. The thing is, everything else is done very well. The sound design is well done, with great quality too. The score (music) is well chosen and used. The pacing and execution of the plot is wonderful, even though it is predictable. I give him creativity points for thinking up putting silencers on the guns. I recommend this film if you have five minutes to spare, or just feel like listening to an awesome soundtrack. Check it out!"
Review 2: Gone Fishin' (Link to film)
"Any brickfilmer knows that short 10 to 20 second films are abundant, but few are good quality. This is one of them. This one camera angle, one joke film is awesomesauce, and it is easy to tell. Sound and animation are great. Plot is simple, but well executed. You may just find yourself getting eaten by a narwhal if you have the nerve not to watch Dan's 12 masterpiece. DO IT NAO!!!
Well, there you go! I'll be happy to help the BiM community as much as I can. This is the least I could do.
Thank You! -Brian Ambrose"

No, but if I recall correctly, the review panel has something instead of "member" below their avatar.
^ Yes, it says "Review Panel"
THAT'S RIGHT!
I sent in my application.

lots of entries.
Is there only one position open, or are you guys looking for multiple people?
Could you look over some of them soon? I want to know how I did!
Just sent mine in.
A couple pieces of advice for those of you who haven't sent in an application yet but are planning to... first, remember that these reviews are directed at potential viewers to help them decide whether or not to watch a film, not a technical review for the director. We've gotten several submissions already that nitpick about things like light flicker but don't even say what genre the film is in. And secondly... PROOFREAD! A grammatical error here and there might be excusable, but of the five applications I've looked over so far, three of them had multiple spelling errors.
@Legobrickstud: Only Smeagol knows exactly what the plan is, but from what the current panel has discussed, I think it's pretty open-ended. If ten of you prove to be awesome reviewers, we'll probably take all ten, at least on a temporary basis.

I like the sound of that
at least on a temporary basis
That, I don't.
I'll start reviewing something right now!
