It's not my decision, but it seems that this last round of reviewers really helped. The queue is in the 80s, it's been cut in half in two weeks. I think we are okay for reviewers at the moment, but Noodle will make the call on that.
As NXT said, the queue has been almost cut in half since the expansion, and if things continue at this pace, we won't be adding anyone else at the moment. That said, if the pace slows down a bit, there's a possibility we may add a few more reviewers on a temporary basis to get things down to where they need to be. We've still got your applications and a shortlist of names, so if we need you, we'll come get you.
Sorry for the BUMP. But we would just like to ask is there any room left on the review panel. We aren't trying to beg, but we would really like a spot on the review panel. We are not saying that the reviewers have done a bad job in fact they are fantastic! All we are trying to say is that we have dreamed of this job ever since visiting the site, and we just would like the opportunity to try out for the job. We understand the challenges and the feel of boredom as you advance in film reviewing, but we are ready to endure all of the challenges that this may bring. We are on BiM constantly so we shouldn't have a problem of slacking off. We understand that we are not great animators ourselves but we feel that this may help us improve in animating for years to come. Even if the job is only for the rest of the summer we would be grateful for the chance to join this hallowed group for any amount of time. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please take it into consideration.
Me too I would like being in the review panel team. But do you have any idea, how many films I should review in a week? If it's just 3 or 4 in a week, I should very involved in my task. I really wish the forum continues to improve with more reviewers.
Your enthusiasm is greatly appreciated, guys, but we've been burned many times in the past by members who told us how awesome they'd be and then reviewed a film or two before never reviewing anything again. Now, we'd love nothing more than for you to be awesome reviewers and join our ranks, but we have to make sure that's the case. Good reviews will get you on the panel, not begging, as quantity means nothing if your reviews are pointless and/or unreadable.
If you want to prove your worth, feel free to send us another application. As I said:
