Smeagol, didn't Aled call in a swat team to arrest Taab over the fact that she couldn't legally trademark the term brickfilm, but then she used some hired help to kill the team and hunt down Aled?

That doesn't really sound realistic. But, frankly, hardly any of this stuff does. It's really mindblowing how all this started from a website...

We're... writing a screenplay? I'd rather that someone who was ACTUALLY THERE would write it and get everything right. I'd really hate for a big story like this to be done wrong, and give people the wrong idea.

What is this "Hacker Incident"? Also, I'd like to add I join BF around the end of what was happening, and left after it died officially. Ironically, the last post I made was "Brickfilms.com will LIVE!" 
I'm the one that wrote the original article jargon linked to on the first page. The original had to be taken down due to ... legal difficulties but luckily the archived version is still up, though heavily censored.
I think I originally joined BF around 2005 or 2006. My first major foray into making films was the "Transaction" submission I made for the original Ten Lines Contest. I'm also happy to say that I was the first minister, though there is no proof left of that.
I'm both happy and sad that I'm in Australia and wasn't involved in any of the face to face stuff that went down in the US, but it would have been interesting if there had been any assets of TaaB's here that the Aussie brickfilmers could have marched upon...

He wrote the screenplay for The Social Network. He was referred to as someone needed to write an accurate and solid screenplay on the split.

i only joined the site becoase of Nathen Wells and his vids. i did not hear of the collapse until i came here. in fact, when i first joined here at bim i preferred brickfilms because it made more sense (back then i didnt know what a forum was) then i clicked forums at bim and my problems were solved.
You mean at the front end (like, on the forums) or behind the scenes (in the real lifez)?
Were you involved in either way?
