i have one question how long does it take for a film to be reviewed?

At the moment it could take weeks, even months. There is a queue of about 150 films that still need to be reviewed. The main reason new Review Panel members are being added is to make this list much shorter and have a more reasonable queue length.

You have to remember that there are a lot of films that get sent to the hidden section, which can be accesed under "All Films". So although there have only been, like, 15 reviews since the new review panel members were accpeted, there have been more than 40 films that have been processed, it's just most of them went to the hidden section.

That's because most of the film aren't shown by default. The film directory can give a film three different statuses: Hidden, Recommended or Staff Favourite. Films in the last two categories show up by default in the directory, and are listed on the home page. Films that are given a Hidden standard are only shown if you choose to view All Films in the directory list.
The numbers don't lie either. Even though there have been a lot of new submissions, the queue is down to 100 films now. All in all, about 65 films have been processed in these 5 days.
