This guy?
Welcome back to Bricksinmotion.
If you're the person I linked to, then I'd like to say that the links to your channel and website aren't working.

my dad doesn't want me to brickfilm on because it's his computer, but he's not home right now at the moment.

Re: Introduce Yourselves

Hi,

My name's Sie. I'm someone who use to be avidly into brickfilming when I was younger. I got pressured out of it (to move into clay of all things, yuck). I'm looking to get back into making films, which feels odd after 13 years of not owning lego.

I'd appreciate if anyone knows of any masterposts for getting into brickfilming. I feel so out of the loop. I doubt people still use the logitech quickcam pro 4000. mini/lol

P.S. It's super cool to see the community still alive, and im recognizing a lot of old names. Whatever happened to Brickfilms, if that's not too taboo to ask around here.

Re: Introduce Yourselves

Hello!

I might have posted in this thread before but since my last visit to this site was many years ago I'm re-introducing myself as there's likely to be a lot of new faces I've never seen before.

I'm a Scottish brickfilmer known by the name of blobstudios. I was a pretty active brickfilmer a few years ago but university has taken up a lot of my free time lately. However I'm soon to be finishing up at uni and somehow found the time to release a new video a few weeks ago. I hope to get back in to brickfilming regularly again as I ponder where to go next in life.

Hope to meet some new brickfilmers and share some stories. Thanks!

Re: Introduce Yourselves

Welcome back!  I must say it was a surprise to see a new video from you the other day.

Re: Introduce Yourselves

Welcome (back) to the forums, Sie and blobstudios! It's great to have you.

Unfortunately, I don't have a good all-in-one brickfilming tutorial around, but there are plenty of awesome tutorials on the web, and please, feel free to ask what you need to know. Check out the Production forum, it's full of good stuff.

Again, welcome!

Re: Introduce Yourselves

well, that film was interesting, I busted out laughing when

Spoiler (click to read)

He pulled out the keyboard

mini/lol
the stop motion segment isn't too bad, their are some set bumps, some visible clay, the animation isn't that smooth (maybe because the video's frame rate isn't divisible by the animation's FPS?) and there did seem to be some light flicker, which in this film isn't a problem, because it's covered up by the old film effect, I did like the animation of the huntsman attacking the wolf though.

Welcome to BIM, It will be interesting to see what you produce! mini/smile
