I just found this thread, didn't read every post because it would've taken too much.
I disagree especially with you saying Scorsese is one of the most overrated directors of all time, I think he deserves all the recognition he has: after all, he made films like Taxi Driver, Raging bull and Goodfellas, which I think are some of the finest movies I've seen. I'm curious to know which director you think is the most overrated of all, though.
About the rest, yes, I know a movie it's just a movie, but one could argue some movies do indeed tell the truth about some aspects of our lives, as any form of art does, imo.
I also usually don't like to judge a movie without having seen it.
I don't think the message of the Lego movie is that Business man are bad, and anyway, since you already know what is fake and what is not, why shouldn't you go watch it? After all it won't change you, and you might even like it, or discover that the Evil Business Man of the Lego movie isn't as bad as it seems, and that what the Lego Club magazine said isn't actually correct: it might happen.
I'm not trying to convince you to go watch the movie (the trailer didn't really impress me either, the jokes weren't that funny, although the animation looks amazing), it's just that it didn't sound to me a valid reason.
