The animation quality has been stepped up again this season. Just look at Twi's hair go!
In an interview with Bronyville, Jayson Thiessen said that they're always trying to make the hair animation even better than before.
They sure know how to do their job like wow

I hope that they give an air date for three soon. Not knowing is driving me mad. I want it now. It's looking amazing.

Source? I remember there being some mention of this a few months ago but I thought they said the episodes were being split between studios or something. I can't see them cutting the show off at the height of its run.
EDIT: Aw, that's a shame. I hope they're working on something big (feature film *hint hint*) to make up for the shorter season.
They're not stopping the show, that would be a completely ridiculously stupid thing for The Hub to do (for their ratings, money, etc.), considering MLP is like their only show that's doing really well for them.

Personally, I would love a feature film. I think that they could totally pull it off. Also, with the fanbase we have, it would probably be moderately successful.
It feels a bit early for one though. And there is a possibility that the show might go downhill afterwards. The best thing would be to have one after the show ends.
I just want season three to at least come already. I'm so tired of waiting. 
Well, the good news about this is that they speculate that the time inbetween seasons will be shorter as well. So there will be more breaks, but they'll be shorter. That means less waiting for us.
I figured it out, and it's a 3/4 month wait as opposed to a 5/7 month wait.
As for when Season 3 will come;
They said it won't be in August. The DVD that has a Season 3 episode on it comes out in December. So that means it will come out sometime in September, October, or November. Season 1 came out in October, Season 2 came out in September.
So I think Season 3 will come out in October. Why? Apparently they want all the season premiers to be in the early-mid fall. I think they might be alterating between September and October. Odd-numbered seasons in October and even-numbered seasons in September.
I think I'm turning into an unofficial brony....

I'm guessing he's starting to fall into the Brony realm and mindset, but not exactly yet fully embracing the magical power of friendship and love for ponies.
My younger brothers are kinda like that. They have a respect for the show and stuff of that sort, but aren't exactly big fans. Lee really likes the fandom though, and watches a bunch of pony videos.
That's how everyone in my group of friends are.
They like the show but they're too embarrassed to be really loud bronies like I am.
most of us here tend to lean toward Bridle Gossip. I Think that Swarm of the Century would work well too.
Also, my friend who I've been trying to convince to watch MLP for over a year now randomly decided to try it out last week without mentioning it to me (he must have been really, really bored), and he is now a brony!
It feels really weird since I had completely given up trying to get him to watch it.
But I got to do my first bro-hoof on Monday. 
(He actually stated with the pilot, but kept on going)
