Re: The Wizard of Oz

What do you mean by "edit"?  Are you going to physically modify the piece, or add something in post-production?

Either way, don't do it.  It wouldn't look right if you tried to tinker with it.  If I were you, I'd just leave the piece as it is.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

I agree with him. ^
You're probably thinking of cutting the back hair off and leaving the front for the "Braids"
Unless you're a pro at that type of thing, you probably shouldn't mod it. mini/no
On the other hand, some post-producion modding might look OK.
But leaving the piece as it is would be the easiest thing.

As with the others, I would like to see some pics. And if you don't want to put them online, then e-mail them to me and I'll post them in my photobucket for you. mini/yes

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Hehe. Filming 1 %! I don't think that is is very important to update some 1 % filming. mini/bigsmile But... script is ready, sets and props pretty little ready and minifigs are almost ready. Good! mini/wink

Bricklink.com
Although you may not need all two dozon legs, you can show, say, seven short things (Whatever it is that needs short legs) in the frame, then show others from a differant angle. Using that, you can make it look like you have a lot of them, but you would only need to buy a few.

But if they don't need to move much, you can mask more in.
Take this pic for example: (Sorry about the small size, I'm too lazy to upload a bigger one.)
http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff416/PritchardStudios/Pigforsig2.jpg

I only have a third of those Romans, but I masked three pics together to make that.
There are ways of making it look like you have a large army without buying a lot of figs.
(Green screening is another way.)

But on the other hand, the legs aren't too badly priced, so just make you own choice. mini/wink

Re: The Wizard of Oz

You can click the color to see what set(s) and minifigure(s) is was in.
As for the one in the main picture, that's medium blue, so it came from Young Boba Fett in 7153 Jango Fett's Slave I.

(Now to get back on-topic mini/tongue)

Fantasyfilmer, do you know when your website will be up?
I can't wait to see videos and preliminary pictures!

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Do you have it set on private or something? I click the link only for it to tell me: "Sorry, that page was not found."
Anyway, I'm glad to see that you're still working on it, I was wondering if you had dropped off the edge of the earth. mini/tongue

Re: The Wizard of Oz

It works! If you want, you can deep-link the pic here thanks to the "img" tags.
The pic looks good, but a little basic, and the sepia tone may be a little too strong. My cam also gets fairly grainy when I'm just taking pictures too, so I don't think that will be a problem unless it does that while you're filming.
The Dorthy figure looks perfect, but that's coming from one who hasn't ever seen the movie, so you'll be a better judge on that point. mini/wink

Re: The Wizard of Oz

EDIT: never mind the screen I was viewing it on before made it look cleaner. Dorthy looks great nice image.
