Re: The Wizard of Oz

Sorry for the confusion, but yes i'll use a real lego head... Actully I am going to get the giant lego storage head and changes the color of the head to green in post and I don't have AFTER EFFECTS...yet but I am going to get it soon.. probably at the end of summer. Since I know I won't finish the film until at least spring of 2013 but the first trailer should be out sometime in summer also I assure you all this will be an epic movie, with smooth animation through out the whole film. It will be about an Hour and 40 minuets like the real movie but i'll post it in 3 30-45 minuet parts. mini/smile

Re: The Wizard of Oz

So as you know I am going to build the munchkin land set so lets take a look at the real set

Real Set

http://www.watchingthelist.com/wp-conte … 1/oz14.jpg
All images are (c) to Wanner Bros. and L. Frank Baum

what I think I'm going to do is Simplify the houses unless I can make them into to round houses any Ideas?? Please post any ideas for the set or houses (and yes you will get credit in the film for the help)
The Pond will be filled with real water in the final takes. So only 2 1/2 more days until the set behind being built. After looking at the set I decided it will take more time than a weekend so The Building will go as long as a MONTH because of the complexity and detail. Thats all
Also I GOT MY WEBSITE!!!

Re: The Wizard of Oz

First, don't use real water!
Bricks, clay, CGI, really anything but real liquid. Why you ask? Well, with water, the surface changes if it's touched by anything, not matter how tiny a bump. Also, even wind can change it, and it makes the surface really inconsistent in the final movie. With another medium, such as clay, you can make it still, have little waves, or whatever you want.

I'm working on a house design in Leocad, so I'll show you that when it's done.
But you'll need a lot of these:

And these:

Good to see that you finally got a website, but there's a few problems. First, I did see a number of typos, as well as other problems. This is one. (Don't leave the default text, you shouldn't have the page if you haven't added something to it yet. And another is the title, Fantasy Filmer Studios, is right over "Business Name and Logo", so you can't really read either one. And what's with the "Redwood" on this page?

I'm not complaining, but maybe you should do a little more work on it before promoting it too much.
(If you want, I can help you get it a little more complete with text, logos and stuff.)

Re: The Wizard of Oz

I know, mini/sad i just wanted to get the basic stuff up and I'll work on Spelling and Graphics) but thanks for the house tips
I actually found a Lego munchkin land done by Mogtagon Jones on Flicker

Re: The Wizard of Oz

By the way, do you (still) use Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 to filming this movie and make the spells well when you will make them. mini/wink

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Sorry I'm going to have to put the trailer off for a while, I haven't had the time... It'll for sure be out by June though. I would have had it done this weekend but its been unusually hot here for this time of year so i was out side.

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Just stop it with the "planning to release it on [this day] or [that day]" stuff. Obviously, you have a lot of time on your hands, I understand. Don't worry about the release dates until you're 100% sure that you've finished it. mini/smile
