Just because you don't know how to post an image doesn't mean you have to stop posting here.

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Re: The Wizard of Oz

From iPhoto? What you do is you find where the picture is saved in Finder, and then upload it to tinypic or flickr. then you type

(PS- if you can't find where the image is saved in finder, you could just go to iPhoto and just take a screenshot of it and continue from there)

No... just waiting time again. mini/bigsmile It's whole time... But I'm really looking foward this. mini/smile It's good thing. But my opinion is that you must film it by 15 FPS or higher, without that I think it's not really good. FPS is all's tart and all's end. mini/bigsmile

Re: The Wizard of Oz

I'm getting a new camara for Christmas (mabey) and I was wondering what would be the best kind (incase I return it to get a better one?)
And if any of you have made custom hair what clay should I use? mini/lol mini/wink

Re: The Wizard of Oz

I wouldn't use clay for the hair.
In my opinion, clay doesn't mesh well with Lego, and it looks worse when it's used for hair/modified heads, body parts, Ect... I would just try to find the hair piece that looks the best and use that.
(The above is my OPINION, and it's not nessecarily correct. mini/wink)

Re: The Wizard of Oz

What camera you are waiting, I want to know, 'cause I don't want that your quality is crappy. Or what camera do you use now?

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Wait a minute!

How is that possible, making clay look like plastic?  Or do you just want it to look like Lego, but don't know how to do that?

Well, it's not really possible.  Lego is more shiny, clay is dull.  The whole point of making a custom part is to make something in a shape Lego doesn't have.  That alone makes it look not Lego.

In a brickfilm, clay is better suited for liquids because of its smoothness and pliability.  Lego pieces are better suited for solids because of thier rigidity and how a studded surface gives a rough look.  I think Lego shouldn't be used for liquids and clay shouldn't be used for solids.

What kind of hair are you attempting to make out of clay?

Re: The Wizard of Oz

Hmmm, that does present a problem.
The nearest Lego pieces to that are: Part 92083 95225 30410

Now, I haven't ever read The Wizard of Oz, but would be possibe to change the hair to one of those without ruining Dorthory?
