Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

it's still a serie, yes, but episode one is bigger than the other 3, because it's an entry and it has the introduction.

''You don't have to tell him how great is coffee is man!''

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Looking awesome, T.G.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Looking good T.G-Tom.

Is it a full mystery, or is it comedy as well?

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Most of it is mystery, but ofcourse there is some humor (mostly lame jokes from the caracther). Don't expect too much from it tough.

Ah, well it looks interesting. Not trying to get into details, but it wouldn't happen to be about a dude stuck in a building or something, would it?

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Dude, it's based on a 90's series called the X-files, so prepare for weird mysteries and doubtfull situations mini/tongue No simple story in here (my brother worked 2 months on the script)

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

where on Cincinnati Bricks is the place where you put in your user name and stuff and get the discount?

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

You'll need to register on BrickLink.com and make your order at the Cincinnati Bricklink store as normal.  To claim your discount, mention the contest in the order comments (while checking out), and provide your BiM forum username and the name of the contest film you are working on.  Then he should give you the 5% discount.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Would anyone be interested in doing a co-pro with me for Avant-Garde? Naturally I would do one myself, but the nature of the film I would like to do requires someone with very good writing skills, particularly poetry (don't ask). I also need someone who has a good editing software and knows how to use it, for all I have is WMM (for now) and for such a project I would not want such lousy quality. I will do all the animation, and offer plenty of feedback on the scripts and storyline, etc.

I've decided that I'm going to become immune to several select, non-lethal poisons, then put them in my snacks to discourage sneaky snack snatchers. -Littlebrick

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I might take you up on that offer BrickLord. I use quite a few programs to edit (Blender, Axogon, CineGobs, VirtualDub, etc.), and scripting/poetry comes quite easily to me. Oh, and I edit my movies in Magix.

If you want someone who has AE though, I'm not the person you would look for, but I think I'm still pretty good at effects.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I have AE and Sony Vegas, I'm getting ParticleIllusion in about 10 weeks, but I suck at poetry and scripting. But I could edit for you.

I'm back. Possibly.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I really need someone that has any experience with flash, or anyone who knows of a decent forumthat would be willing to help me just get into the basics, or good video tutorials that cover basic games. I'm just trying to figure out how to do like pacman-y or tetris-y types of games, nothing too advanced.

I'm pretty good at editing. I use Roxio Creator 2009 Video Wave. I would be more than happy to edit your film!

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Just so you know, if Dog is decided to do your special effects through a better test than me, I could always still script/do poetry.
