Are non-brickfilming judges a good idea if one of the major elements is breaking brickfilming conventions? It seems to me that judges would want to be familiar with the genre enough to recognize entries that are avant-garde in terms of brickfilming.

While that's a valid point, Jargon, I think what Smeagol is trying to do is find people who are unfamiliar with the medium, and therefore unbiased in the way they judge, so they can evaluate entires based on the standards of an actual "film" rather than a "brickfilm."

I finally thought up a good idea for Avant -Garde!!!
Got the best idea, but I think I will focus more on special effects and animation than cinematography

Haha! I'm a beginner and have no idea what I'm doing, which means all the things I do will be .......different...... from what is normally done.:cool:
