That USA game was pretty epic.
USA: 1 Algeria: 0. USA wins group, UK is runner up, but advances.
I had to see snippets of it interspersed with the other one. Really happy about the win, though.
Haha; the Dutch channel (which broadcasted both matches on the public channels 1 and 2) showed part of the other match every time something important happened, something which was really confusing yesterday as when I was watching Argentinia vs Greece, everybody suddenly was either black or asian. SO confusing.

The US deserved that win. Two bad calls went against them and if they had lost out because of those calls... Well done to them.

Some one needs to learn some geography.
I cant believe that England only just stayed in, come on its the easiest group I have ever seen. And how the hell did the USA get the same number of points as England? If the US can get a goal against Algeria I would assume England could do the same if not better. Oh well I just hope that being runner up works in our favour, though I doubt we will last long if we couldn't even beat Algeria or the US.

That's because there not good. I have been watching them play and i haven't seen any skill on there part. There main tactic seems to be just defending. Anyone who thinks the US is good must have been looking away from the screen through every game they played.

So I take it you haven't watched their match against Algeria, then?
My prediction is that England beats the USA something like 5-1.
Then We beat Algeria 6-0.
And finally Slovenia gets a bit lucky and only looses 7-2.I think Argentina is going to try to make an example of us this year. You know with all this Falkland oil stuff going on, they know they cant beat the UK at war so they go for the second best thing and try to beat England at football. I feel like there's going to be a lot of national pride involved with that game. It will be the one to watch.

No there not. The only explanation I have for why the European teams are doing badly is because of the heat. I believe the American team probably spent the last 3 years training in Texas or somewhere. Anyway the US team is not doing well their just not giving up after 45 minutes like everyone else.
It seems like they give the number of goals priority over margin percentage, which actually seems preety stupid. It means a team that team that won a game 10-9 would be positioned above a team that won 9-0. So, yeah, the US didn't win their group, they tied with England.
Also, I don't think it's that hot in South Africa in the middle of Winter.
Actually, the U.S. did win the group, not England. And U.S.A does deserve to win the group. All U.S.A needed to do was win, & the group is theirs. They did, so live with what happened, not with what should have happened.
