What on earth happened today? I thought these three games would all be easy wins for Germany, USA, and England. I guess not.

You don't cheer for teams based on how well they play when it comes to your own country. If you're in England and proud of being in England, you cheer for England. They could lose 10-0 and that should have no effect.
If you're not proud of being in England, move. The world is a big place. Otherwise, support your country.

Italy decent at soccer? Not this year. Same for Brazil. The match against North Korea was awful.
Btw, England Algeria ended 0 - 0.

Im disgusted by the way my team played tonight. We don't deserve to be in this world cup playing like this.
England really sucked today. At least this time they won't be able to blame it on the goalkeeper.

What? That was one of the most interesting ones I've seen, especially since the North Koreans were actually quite good. They played really fairly, too.

Last time I checked it it was spelled Zidane. 
I'm surprised not to see everybody up in arms over the fact that the US was denied a 3-2 victory for no reason, on top of the fact that they should have gotten a penalty kick and didn't.
I think it's because Americans don't generally care about soccer. When stupid stuff like this happens in the sport, it really just sort of justifies it.
I agree with Smeagol. But if America doesn't make it to next round because of that one terrible call THEN I'll be really mad.
