I didn't see your post then. I hadn't refreshed the page.

No there[sic] not. The only explanation I have for why the European teams are doing badly is because of the heat. I believe the American team probably spent the last 3 years training in Texas or somewhere.
You obviously don't know geography. It's WINTER, in South Africa.
Winter in south Africa is still hot weather during the day. It is only at night that it gets cold there.

And you also called England the UK which leads me to believe you don't really understand to much about football or geography.
If you're going to accuse people of mixing up the UK and England, at least make sure they actually did it. haha, why does it bother you so much? No other poms on the site seem to care about it, and amazingly, the americans don't really seem to care that you constantly stereotype and judge them with little knowledge.
Also, the US did not win their group. They tied with England. Both had two ties and one win. Both teams only won by a point in their winning games.
It bothers me when people get confused between England, Great Britain and the UK but that is a different matter. I am talking about football teams here. Anyone who follows international football would know that there isn't a 'specifically British' football team. The Olympics is one of the rare occasions that we play sport as the UK, and even then its GBR.
Edit:

That wouldn't go down well with FA.

IT WAS A TIE
