Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Squid, those frames look great. Can't wait to see it! It would also be cool to see the whole film in color. mini/tongue

KB, those frames look really nice, thought the windows are eh...

Can't wait for the next Jeffery and The Old Man.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Some heavily armoured Extremis soldiers are attempting to break through a reinforced door in Avengers Tower. Expect fire and explosions and cool stuff. I now officially have five shots filmed, and three shots completely edited (without sound, anyway).

The Avengers logos were added digitally. I still need to tweak the source of the smoke a bit, and sort out the shape of its mask, but other than that I can run with this frame now. I've also lightened the face of the heavy on the left a bit and made it more visible since I took this frame.

personally. I kind like it... also, I dont mind the blue tack showing under their feet, kinda adds a sorta organic look I think....

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That's a nice night scene. One odd thing is that the light on the left isn't glowing. mini/confused
And I agree that the green in the fire looks weird Jampot.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

There is a green tinge around the hole in the door.  To be honest, i didnt notice it till it was pointed out.

The yellow glow of the fire that you added looks a bit green is all.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It's interesting how large a scene you've created here.  I feel however that the angle would benefit from being different.
Were I to set up the shot, I would have the camera level with the minifigure someplace on that side-street with the greenery of the trees in the left of the frame and the woman around the middle or one third away from the left, also a little bit closer.
Or course, I don't know exactly how this looks sequentially and in context.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I really like the set Antonio, but I agree with Squid in that it would benefit from a lower angle.

Here's a frame from the upcoming Pokeballin' 2:

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That is absolutely fantastic!  Great detail on the guy's face, and the forest, and... everything really.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That is absolutely amazing! But is it a little out of focus, or is the image just low resolution, I can't tell. I am so excited for this, Pokeballin' is one of my favorite short brickfilms ever.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Awesome job, NXT! Can't wait for the release, considering I loved its predecessor.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Thanks everyone! I've added a Pokeballin' 2 update box on my website, check it out!

I think Facebook worked its magic and compressed the face a bit, as it is in focus.

I figured that was it. Also, I like the update box.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

That set is huge.  As far as minifigure scale goes it would work rather well for the forest of the giant trees from Attack on Titan or maybe Endor.

I need more tree building bricks.

I'm pretty sure that head is out of focus though.  I looked at a more HD version.  His feet and some of the little trees behind him are sharply in focus, but his face is leaning forward beyond it.  His pupils are also sharp though, I would guess that they were added digitally.  I would suggest blurring them slightly as well.
