That's a really nice looking frame, MindGame; it has a very minimalistic yet polished feel that I really like. It's fairly rare to see practical lights in Brickfilming, so it's nice to see it here (although I understand why it's rarely done, given the difficulties).

However, I feel like the light itself looks too yellow-ish for an average lamp. I think you should use a trans-clear stud instead of what appears to be a trans-yellow one to make the light whiter, and possibly tweak the in-camera white balance, or the colour correction in post if it doesn't quite look right. I'd agree the wall does look a bit empty, although it depends on the context (if he's staying in an empty room or cheap motel it wold make sense for there to be no other furniture). I also really like the design of the bed, especially the way you made the sheets.

(Also, on a side note, who is the guy in your current avatar? It looks familiar to me, but I can't quite place it.)

Thanks everyone for your comments!
I really like how realistic this shot looks.
One of my goals for Appetite Lost was to try to get the viewers to forget they were looking at LEGO - even just for a second. I feel like I'm getting pretty close to that goal.
I'm curious though: what method did you use to make the headlights light up?
I used LifeLites, a special type of LED light product designed to work with LEGO. The entire car model is packed full of wires and lights. I'll post behind the scenes pictures later.

Im pretty sure he is used LEDs. Also that shot looks really cool Nathan. It looks slightly bright compared to the other sots that you have posted. But really cool. Really like that on set lighting.

Hope that helps
