Re: Sea Battle

I enjoyed that.  It definitely had that Zelda feeling to it thanks to the music, no dialogue and sound effects.  I thought your animation was quite nice, and the water effects looked convincing for the most part.  Very fun to watch!

Re: Sea Battle

The water was great, the story was like Zelda, and the animation was good, but it could have been smoother. Also, did you have Auto Focus on? Just because it seemed to jitter back and forth. The focus that is.

Persist.

Not so much 'on' as it is the camera has it. God I can't believe I spent $100 on the 9000 with no settings... Still working on a compatible camera (which has more than nill manual settings)

Thanks for the little feedback. Briefly, what part of the animation did you feel could have been smoother? (Eg too rushed, jerky movements, light flicker)

Thanks

Re: Sea Battle

Cool. Animation was good, so was lighting, and the story was average and cool, kinda:shifty:  I may sound stupid for asking this, but, how come there were sub-titles but no voice? Oh, and I loved how you had the shot where it was an "over the shoulder" shot of the cannon. mini/delirium

Re: Sea Battle

I know it was meant to be like Zelda, but the subtitles got quite annoying. Those aside, the animation was pretty good. 4/5

I was doing what I can to give it that 'Zelda' feeling, with keyword-highlights and things like that, but I can appreciate whatever dislike of the use of those subtitles. I doubt I'll be doing more Zelda past this current project, and thus the end of the subtitle substitute.

Thanks, Hazzat mini/smile

Oh, even though their was no dialouge, that still didn't stop it from being enjoyable. Thanks!

Re: Sea Battle

It was good, the sets we're great and btw I love forestmen! They're real old. Could've used sound though... Remember if you don't want to be in you're vocal you can always do Casting Calls.

Re: Sea Battle

Very well made! A nice attempt with some smooth animation. My advice would to maybe work on the backdrop, however this all comes in good time.:) The concept and story-line was easy to follow, so overall it was nicely put together. Also I saw some good improvements, the signs of a proper Brickfilmer.

Check out our new film - Advert! mini/delirium

Re: Sea Battle

I really enjoyed watching this brickfilm. Especially the cannon battle was very exciting, helped by the smooth animation. mini/bigsmile

Wait, do you mean you need the driver software for the 9K? http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/435/3 … en?osid=13

Re: Sea Battle

I think I've said this one too many times 'round the forums..
It's the Mac version, which unlike the PC versions which comes with extra software and internal camera settings, can't do anything manually. But never fear, new camera on the way mini/smile
