Ok, I want another challenge. anyone want a theme and to be judge? or do you want me to dive on into it...?
Why don't we start this on April 1st (Perhaps with a joking theme), or, at the earliest, the 25th. I don't want to see this challenge continue to fail, only to be "revived" every few months... If this is restarted, it needs a leader to keep it up continually, regardless of if it receives no entries for a week or so.
If there isn't a winner for three weeks in a row, then the contest should either be shut down for good, or, the stakes should be raised for one "final" contest - hopefully getting more people to enter, thus truly reviving the contest.
The leader, if any, that wants to keep this thing alive would have to accept not entering, since, they too would be judge. I'd love to be the leader, but, the most fun I had in this contest was when competing, so, I really wouldn't want to miss out on that.
If anyone's willing to take over, I'd be happy to enter. But, I think the rotating judge concept was the main reason this contest died out. I say try a new system. If that fails, and enough people still want continue with this, perhaps then a new/old system can be (re)tried.
Then again, Cooked Cat and If I Were A Minifig were the only two people to comment on this thread after January 1st... Perhaps it's not popular enough of a subject to get enough people willing to join in. If I'm not mistaken, the first 2 or 3 contests had the most amount of entrants, and even then, most challenges had only one or two entrants as it was. For a contest like this to be successful, it really needs more than just 3 people on board for it.
ok, so how about someone picks a theme. can join in the contest. then people cast a vote over 1 day. then the winner is chosen...

Me too. I'm been practicing for my summer contest entry, and this would be good practice.
If Cooked Cat and If I Were A Minifig are still on board, I'll join as well. The film score challenge never had a 5 person battle royale before! And, with the added competition, I think it'll contribute to the longevity of the contest. Hopefully we can make it last longer than a few months this time.
