I have updated my channel art today, because a plain "TwoGuysBrickfilms - Plus three other guys that aren't part of the team" was a little misleading… well, very misleading. Besides, with a plain orange background, it was pretty boring. I have made and edited a new channel artwork. How does it look?

Oh, and I guess I'll have to update it again when Heads is released...
Looks nice. I really should update mine soon. I haven't updated it since last June.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Lego YouTube channel really isn't that good? They seem to upload far too many videos a day, most of them not even in English, leaving only a couple hundred views with most videos from a channel that has one and a half million subscribers. It's good that they do videos in multiple languages, but you would think that they could make a different channel for each language. I've just unsubscribed.
I never subscribed in the first place because of this. I understand that they have to keep their channel as one, to not confuse people, but it's difficult to navigate. Besides that, they upload videos in duplicates a lot, which is strange, as if their team isn't coordinated. Either way, I just use it to watch videos when I want to, I search and use playlists, I don't sub because most of the videos don't interest me.
As I said in the chat, YT really needs to have localization features, so that people can upload different versions of a video/audio track for different countries. This would also help with videos that are blocked in certain countries because of copyrighted music, as the creator could upload a different version for those countries, as well as people who wanted to have an explicit and clean version of a video and/or a commentary track.
I also think that if LEGO had separate channels for things like Friends, Elves, Ninjago, etc.. that have their own universes, It would be more organized, but I can see why they wouldn't want to do that.
I completely agree with what William, rio, and Mark have said. When I was subscribed to LEGO's YouTube channel, my subscription feed was constantly flooded with content. I wasn't particularity interested in most of their videos and the ones that I was interested in seemed few and far between. Needless to say, I unsubscribed.
LEGO is great but their YouTube channel is not for me.
I've actually been intending to unsubscribe for a while, and your comment reminded me so I have done so now.
Yeah, they have way too many videos and it's getting pretty annoying having so many in my subscription feed.
I found it was just burying all the content by the Youtubers I like. It's better now that I have unsubscribed.
I like watching Robot Chicken on YouTube but does that mean I'm subscribed to Adult Swim? No.
There is a playlist that is specifically for Robot Chicken and you can follow it. Adult Swim updates it every once in a while so I have no need to constantly check their YouTube channel.
Here's a playlist mostly with stop motion videos https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRNb

Recently, Some people on bricksinmotion have asked why I do not post on Youtube. The reason I don't is because I already have a google drive account and it is simpler. I have been thinking about converting to YouTube, but I haven't really thought of any advantages to it. Is there any reasons YouTube is better?
Some of the differences are, that YouTube allows people to find videos by searching for them, while google drive videos can only be accessed through a link. YT also allows people to like (or dislike) and comment on your videos, and add them to a playlist to watch later. You can also create playlists of videos (for a series for example), and people can subscribe to you to be notified when you release a new video.
Whether or not you consider those things advantages depends on who you want your audience to be, and how you want to engage with them.
Google Drive is a file hosting site. YouTube is a video sharing social network. People get to find your videos, see them, live, comment, and subscribe, and you get to communicate with people outside of Bricks in Motion or whoever you share the link to your video with. On YouTube anyone can search and find the video, while on Google Drive, it's strictly limited to your sharing of links.
Plus, YouTube allows unlimited videos, while Google Drive has limited space.
YouTube is much more social and overall better for video hosting.
I would recommend that you use YouTube. There are many advantages and as the others have said, you can get quite a big following. Also, because Google owns YouTube, you won't have to worry about creating an account because when you sign into Google and upload to YouTube, you automatically have a YT channel. Another thing I thought I should add - because I mostly go on BiM on my phone, I don't immediately get to see your films, because Google drive files don't seem to work most of the time on my phone, and I quite often don't get around to watching your films until a couple of days after you submit them. If you were to upload to YouTube, I would watch them straight away.
Thank you for all the answers. I already have a youtube account, I was just wondering if it made any difference if I started on there or not. I was only considering youtube because I thought I might get more feedback, and therefore more suggestions on how to improve.
I have just joined youtube, but there is one issue. How do you get bricksinmotion to have the thumbnail where no link is required? I have seen some filmers do it, and some not. Is it something with the youtube settings?
(By the way, sorry for the double post)

You have to use the full link not the abbreviated version.
This is the link you have put for your film, https://youtu.be/hLLyi2yL9wo
And this is the link you need https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLLyi2yL9wo
Thank you.
Sorry for the double post, but since I am new to youtube, how do I add a link to bricksinmotion on my channel? I have seen many people on bricksinmotion do that.
