Re: The Long Way Home (an adventure in cinematography)

I have a suggestion. You could fill the soundscape as fully as possible then add a high or a low pass filter giving it a very muffled effect. Adding a ring would make it very similar to certain scenes in movies after explosions. Or just absolutely no sound at all, just gradually fade out all the sound.

In the finished edit of the scene, I went for gradually fading out the sound in the middle and then bringing it back towards the end when more action takes place.
Editing is going smoothly. I'm about halfway through and 3/4th's of the way through the whole film. I have college from Thursday though so I would imagine that progress will slow.
Also, trailer wise; I'll probably only release a trailer a week or so before I actually release the film.

Re: The Long Way Home (an adventure in cinematography)

I have been busy.
Editing is going very slowly and isn't going to speed up any time soon. I'll hopefully get some done at the weekend. College however is so far going very well; I've already gone on a photography trip. Here's a photo:

Re: The Long Way Home (an adventure in cinematography)

Process is as slow as a snail marathon. I've been really enjoying college but it has been taking up my free time like nothing.

I'm looking for a voice actor currently; someone who can realistically do an angry voice. If you know of someone or think you'd be up to it PM me.

Meanwhile here's a very interesting photo:

Re: The Long Way Home (an adventure in cinematography)

I'm just waiting to hear back from a voice actor but once that's done I will have completely finished post production. I'm going to be putting out a trailer very soon. Hopefully in the next few days.
