Ah this thing...

UPDATE
2 months on, the wiki is not dead! (It is still a mess however). I personally haven't been very active on it but I have  made a few cosmetic changes to the homepage of the site to make it a bit more tidy.

Anyway I've decided that in an attempt to help keep this project a float I will from now on try and post slightly more regularly in this thread with a few suggestions on how Brikifilms could be helped. So here goes:

• BiM - the documentary - I've made a page for this upcoming feature length. It currently has very little information and it would be great if some stuff could be added to it

• The Brickfilmer's Guild - thefourmonkey's community site's page on the wiki is completely bare! Information about how the site actually works and events such as its annual film festival would be most welcome

I'm aware that editing on a wiki is a very time consuming task (I don't really have any time myself!) but if you have half an hour spare sometime then there's always something to do.

Just created our 100th page! It's a bit of a stub, but I tried my best with the time I had. I might edit it more later or tomorrow. Check it out and perhaps edit it?

Honestly, right now, the wiki is a complete and utter disaster. I appreciate the work Rocky has been putting into it, but I feel the whole wiki is a mess. The entire focus appears to be on members desperately trying to create pages for themselves instead of focusing on listing brickfilms of actual importance.

Without some serious overhauling and reformation, this wiki will collapse into a pool of self-centeredness and egotism.

We need some active members on the staff with powers to actually impact and shape the wiki. More admins would be best, ideally some actual mods from BiM.

Brickfilms Wiki | BiM: The Documentary

I kind of have a presence over on the wiki (I used to be a lot more active but other stuff has got in the way recently). One of the things I talked about with Boats was brickfilm character and location pages, and I've started by using BFCU films, but I really need to sit down and spend an afternoon working through making a proper template.

My plan is to  start applying the templates with Nick Durron's brickfilms (particularly the Tompa City Menace) since his films have a strong sense of canon and great cinematic quality, but it's just that finding the time has been difficult.

Looking back, the way I've done stuff so far does look quite egotistical, so sorry about that; it wasn't my intention. While I was working stuff out, i thought it'd be best to use films I was really familiar with.
