Well.. who's counting? (Actually, I have no idea)
Uhh...only about 200. I have a ton of work to do still.
I started animating this morning. 
Here's the first frame-
Squid-
You may want to get a ruling on your proposed letter mod in you 'Potion Purple' scene. I remember a previous contest, I think it was the most recent THAC; the letter mod was a "T". Someone asked if a sword with a wide guard, or cross, would qualify as a T; (it really did look like a T, by the way). The judge for the contest said it did not count; making a distinction between printed items and letter-shaped objects.
I realize this is a different contest, and different judges may have different interpretations, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd hate to have that beautiful shot removed from your film. I'll try to find the thread I'm talking about...

I'm guessing I've taken around 2,000 pictures so far, but a good portion of those don't have any actual animation.

So far, I have taken 1,690 frames (but some of them will be cut out).

Nice! I really like the set design! (For some reason or another, I am getting the idea that we had a similar story idea. Not sure though.

I need help picking a name for my brawl entry, here are the choices I've come up with but I'm also open to any suggestions:
Tale of Kingdoms: Return of the Darkness
Kings Quest
Rise of Darkness
Darkening Times
I rather think you could mix and mash two together, for example: Kings Quest: Rise of Darkness.

I have taken between 500 and 550 frames (but not all of them will be used).

I thought the set looked kind of bland till I added the roof supports.
Does your idea involve developing news?

Recorded my voices. Working on animating dialogue.
@END Films: Mine's not news. More of an investigation. But it's got lots of interviews in it. I guess we'll have to wait and see how similar it really is.
The scene shown in that frame is the only one with anything similar to an interview.
One challenging thing about a news based film is the shots are pretty long because in real life you would only have one camera so you can't cut between angles.

Just wondered if anyone had any feedback on this set. It's only featured very briefly, but I feel like there's something missing. It's meant to be a large supermarket (think walmart/tesco) and the 1x1 tiles in front are supposed to be cars.
Proportionally, that's a massive sign compared to the actual store. Is that the final backdrop, or will there be a blue sky?
