Re: BRAWL 2014 Update Thread!
Finished some more shots. Not really that happy with my work but it's unlikely I'll go back and re-shoot. I'm experimenting with more effects in Sony Vegas. Probably not the best idea, but it seems to be helping.

I like the cool glow, Jordan, but It would look better brighter. 'Tis dark.
I really like that staircase It's really stylish. The living room is a bit bright, though, but I guess that's hard to avoid with the mod.
Anyway, I've done some stuff for my own film.
Here's a picture of the Pumpkins Three in test lighting:
(I did a really bad job of lighting that there, I really need to do better. But I'll rectify that)
And here are some frames:
The Lovers two:
I HAVE SPECIAL EYES! (Might cut this guy)
The Potion Purple.
All of those last three are just one shot things that pop up and go away but look kinda cool.
For that last one I've used the letter mod.

I don't see it anywhere.
I now have all my voices, I just need to edit them. I've filmed about three scenes now. Bleh.

Look at the weird things next to the guy. They're k's.
Okay, the mod element thing is really cheesing me off right now. I realized that I recorded yet another shot without the mod element. I then re-animated it, and realized that I forgot the mod again! Someone should slay me now.
I wish I had a macro lens that could drop down to f1.8. Unfortunately this is just a rough photo taken for planning with my 50mm lens, and I wont be making any macros with that lens.
Wow, that set looks even better on camera. I'd say a smidgen too warm for my tastes, though interior lighting is oft rather warm. I feel the bush would go slightly better without that weird spike thing though.

He's another attempt at the lighting there, much better this time around:
That will probably be final unless perchance I can make it a little bit better.

Exactly! Kind of fancy weird Ks, but I think they're Ks all the same. I sure hope so at least, because that set's gone, and that shot was hard.
Juuuuuuuust in case I stuck some torches to the side in the shadows with the colour mod. And I took a picture shining a light at it to brighten those dark corners.

Whoa! That looks 100% better!
Meet the new KB Videos primary lens. The beauty of f1.8, with the close-ups of a macro; all with the choice of the widest angle possible. Engineering at its finest.
Yes, this really is what I'm shooting BRAWL on.
This is one of the characters in my video.
Since when did LEGO make THOSE long arms?
PixTron, I think they came in the Toy Story sets.

Woody from toy story
I need help picking a name for my brawl entry, here are the choices I've come up with but I'm also open to any suggestions:
Tale of Kingdoms: Return of the Darkness
Kings Quest
Rise of Darkness
Darkening Times
The film takes place in a medieval fantasy setting with a small group of warriors set out to inspect some strange things going on in the south passage..
Its originally based off a series I wanted to make months ago but never had the time not animation skills to pull off and took the idea and based this in that series but at a time before the first episode would take place.

OOOH. Now that makes more sense. I never paid much attention to LEGO Toy Story.

My guess is that you were talking to that squirl, a few yards behind him?
I'm hoping to get a lot of animating done for my video today. I made my story a little bit longer then it was before and I need to get it all done before Friday!
I was thinking Mr. Deeds, but I was more thinking of Crazy Eyes (Steve Buscemi).
I was thinking more along the lines of this: http://youtu.be/V-fRuoMIfpw
