It's actually not a bench. Most banks that I have been in have a little island where you can fill out your checks and stuff. Maybe your banks are different. I hope people can tell that it's not a bench.
OK, Squid doesn't like the uninterrupted brick pattern, and I don't care for the black inverted slopes, so here's a solution to both. Instead of having the inverted slopes, just continue that down with normal grey 1x2 bricks. Or maybe have the top one grey, the next blue, and the rest on the bottom grey. It'll add more details and special designs, the bottom of the arches won't look weird, and the brick bricks will be broken up a bit.
Also, I find it odd that there's a 1x6 arch on one side of the back wall, but a 1x4 arch on the other side. The big one isn't centered, and so it looks silly. I'd finally suggest switching out that brown brick in the middle of the island for one or two plates. It sticks up just a tad too much IMHO.

Since this is the Sets and Props Critique Thread, it is generally assumed that images posted here are submitted for review and critique.
I still care what people think, I'm just not changing anything.
I love this windmill. I love all the Darkmoor sets, and can't wait for the film. Like, I've become such an Annoying Noises fanboy it's unreal
you need to stop, Squid, you're making me and my meagre sets feel so inadequate.
I have one qualm, though. The actual blades are a little too solid; if you look at real windmills a lot of them are grilled.
How's this?
I was considering doing it grilled, as most of the windmills I saw were. I looked at a whole lote before building it, but I did go with solid because I wasn't sure how well grilled would look.
I think these look so much better, Squid. Not that it was bad before, but this feels much more like a windmill. Those grilled sails work nicely. I can't wait to see them in motion! Out of interest, will we see inside the windmill at all in Welcome to Darkmoor?
So far, Darkmoor has a massive Hush vibe, and I mean that in a really good way. Hush was the totally masterful silent episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where for an episode the residents of Sunnydale have their voices stolen by the Gentlemen, a group of suited, constantly-smiling demons straight out of all the wosrt fairy tales you can think of. They live in a clock tower, only come out at night (at which point they float around a few inches off the ground, like ghosts) and are some of the most frightening antagonists in the whole series.
From what you've already posted of Darkmoor's sets and characters, I think you'd really benefit from watching Hush if you can, purely for the scenes with the Gentlemen. It looks like you're trying to achieve a similarly dark and enigmatic atmosphere (though I suspect a much lighter and less brutal tone) and I think you'd benefit from/enjoy watching it.

It looks like you're trying to achieve a similarly dark and enigmatic atmosphere (though I suspect a much lighter and less brutal tone) and I think you'd benefit from/enjoy watching it.
I watched it while I was home alone and there were strange noises coming from outside which was totally creepy.
I like their faces, I like them a lot. I love how they move.

The guy who plays the main Gentlman is Doug Jones. He's a Hollywood contortionist, basically, and he's awesome. He was Abe Sapien in Hellboy, and he's going to be Slenderman in the Marble Hornets movie.

He is indeed simply the best. I was really surprised the other day when my friend Kate suddenly started blurting out how much she loved Doug Jones and how she'd seen him in everything. In the middle of English Lit class.

BTW, have you ever seen The Danger Element? It is an internet webseries, and Doug Jones has a nice role in it.

Looks good. Although the wall looks mabby a bit high and I'm not sure what the things with the flowers on them are but if there tables I would suggest raising them up a bit.
I'm liking what I see, Walrus. Especially the Dane Cook Easter egg in the second frame. Other than that, the sets look cool and lively enough to keep a viewer's attention. So, great job on that!
