yeah, sorry, the grey eye brows are actually the color of the dudes eyebrows and size as normal...
This is a test frame from episode two of Avengers Tower, which is three weeks to a month and a half away. It's Lady Sif VS War Machine, and will hopefully be a massive improvement on the last episode. This shot is a mockup of the opening shot of the animation, but I wanted to get a feel for how wide the set actually was. Safe to say, I won't be able to fit it all in when I actually come to shooting, so I'll have to work with my Framing Plan B.
I'll be uploading some more frames as things progress.
Doing a great job; I still ove this set from any angle!!!!
just a test frame but:
Really nice frame. My only critique is the sky looks a bit bright for a shot of an airplane burning up.
Looks nice, but as osomstudio said, a darker sky would look better. Throwing a couple clouds in would look nice also.
The sky is a bit too happy, and unnaturally bright. The top of the wing is orange and I understand that's to enforce the fire effect, but it looks weird. I think the majority of the orange should be at the base of the wing where it's closer to the fire. The sky also needs a few clouds to look really good.

Here is a shot from my upcoming Satele Shan brickfilm.
thanks guys, I just put it(the sky) in there to show sorta what it looks like, I'm thinking I'll get a sky box or something...
EDIT:
like this:
this make your eyes happy?

ok, yeah, well, again, I'll see what I can do, but, its just a very very quick test...
how would you improve it?
@Cat, I think it looks fine. Not sure what's bad about it.
Yeah, the wing-tip is still too orange, but other than that it's fine.
@Galactic, The edges of lightsabers typically fade out better that that. See this for a better looking saber and how to make it. That being said, I think the white is a bit too thick in that example, but I think you can see what I'm trying to say.
The framing is also an issue. She's not dead center, but not off to the side, and too low in the frame. There's also a lot off to the left and top with nothing. I know you want a wider shot to get all of the lightsaber, but it's better to get a balanced and proper framing on the figure that to get all of that blade in there. Go watch Fancypant's Force Unleashed, and observe that only rarely does the full lightsaber appear. He focuses on the figures, and it gives a tighter and more dramatic feel. What you've done is to pull only the figure in focus, but then not place it in the proper place in the frame, and therefore the whole attempt at added emphasis gets thrown off.

.
The lightsaber was done in LSmaker, is there a setting to make it look better?
LSmaker is good for movement. I think it would look better it the lightsaber was moving around.
And adjusting the inner glow so it has more of a feather would look better.

Then this will work because this is a still from the moving blade. And this shot is suppose to look a little dramatic cause it's the opening shot.
