ok, yeah, well, again, I'll see what I can do, but, its just a very very quick test...

how would you improve it?

I would try to make the plane a little bluer and lower the intensity of the reds in the shot. It might also be a good idea to add reflections to the darker areas of the plane, thought that is extremely difficult and isn't really necessary to complete the shot.

The orange underneath the plane doesn't seem to irk me that much.

That's pretty cool! Are they singing? They look like their singing.

They are - it's for the 12 Joys of Brickfilming.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It's a nice looking frame, but my only gripe is that's it's fairly dark overall besides the glowing (chi? mini/tongue) orbs.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Ha, great job on the frames jampot! Here are some frames from my 2 second(?) 12 days segment:

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

"I am the Dwed Piwate Woberts!!!"

I love the angle on the top one, but the third one - nice reference, by the way - could do with a different background. The blue studs feel really out of place and make it feel less natural.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

the shots and angles look good but your animation looks like the ease-in-ease-out needs some more work.

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

Ha, Thanks. I know the blue stud background was wierd, but my normal paper background was in use with a very large set which there is no way to move it without destroying it. I also couldn't find any other blue paper and I was to cheap and lazy to go to the store and buy them. Maybe if I find the time(and the minifigures), I will remake that scene.

Thanks. Yeah, I tried doing ease-in-ease-out this time though. Not sure if brickelodeon will let me show you the video though. mini/shifty

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Thought this frame looked cool, so I decided to post it. It's from episode two of Avengers Tower, which will be Lady Sif VS War Machine.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Really cool! Although why is his mask up? Shouldn't it be down when he is fighting?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

This is from the prelude. I've only just started animating the fight itself (and I have to reshoot a lot of it mini/sad  ).

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

@Jampot,
Why'd you have to re-shoot so much? Big continuity error or poor lighting or what?
It looks good, and I'm looking forward to seeing it, but you may have wanted to do something more dramatic with the camera angle. Either a dutch angle, or getting the camera "off the grid" or something would have helped.

Frame from my clip for the 12 Joys of Brickfilming thingie.

The framing could be better, just now noticed that you can see the far edge of the wall, and I wish I had went with a bright blue on the wall instead of the green. But the in-shot lens flare was an unexpected plus and I'm quite proud of the mini-scale set and the lighting. So I like it in spite of the flaws....That, and unlike Jampot I'm too lazy to re-film it. mini/tongue

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Love the lighting you got there Pritchard. Is that a Lifelite in the lamp? As for the set, it looks quite nice...with a fez. mini/wink

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Thanks!
Yep, that's a Life-lite sticking through one of these.

Osom, The camera is sitting a bit low, the guy's head should be about 2/3rd up on the pic, not in the very top part.
(Right now, emphasis is brought to the guy's overalls, not his face.)  Also, it's better to keep things from being dead-center, especially if there's something in the background you want people to notice too. But depending on where the camera movement is going, that could be fixed in a few frames time. It seems to have a slightly high contrast and makes the headlight bricks look kinda odd. Nice use of those though.

Also, the guy's hair doesn't match his beard/eyebrows. In fact, there's three different hair colors going on.
On the other hand, his hair does sorta match his scar. mini/lol

Wow thanks a ton will definitely look at those things more closely next time [I already finished filming this] The camera movement is a pan out so I couldn't figure out how to make it so you didn't see over the top of the room at the end. But I do see now that I probably should have done it a bit differently.

Thanks a ton
