I mean, really? You honestly think it's fine to just say, "Yeah I'm excited to see this movie about !@#$, all you little 11 year olds!" At least put a warning on that, or better yet, don't put a link to it at all, I'm pretty sure a majority of people here don't want to see that. And if they do, this isn't the place to advertise it on.

It's agelocked on youtube. So it shouldn't be viewable for young children anyway.

There's a warning now, but I think it's a good idea to note that:
1) There shouldn't be any 11 year old children on this site; the age limit for registration is 13.
2) Whether the majority of people want to see it or not isn't relevant. It's a trailer for an upcoming film and thus appropriate for this thread.

My apologies, it just really caught me off guard and I overreacted. But even though there is an age limit, I do know of multiple members who are younger than 13 (me at one point). And I do disagree that even though some people may want to see this film, I don't believe that the content is appropriate to advertise it here.

It's a trailer for a film, therefore it is appropriate for this thread (As Squash previously stated). You or anyone else aren't being forced to watch the trailer; if you don't want to see the content, then don't watch. Besides, Kinzcove already posted a warning, so now people know to enter at their own expense.
Implying that 13 year olds have never looked at pr0n.

I understand all that you guys are saying, but even still:
As a public internet site we cannot always ensure this forum will be wholly appropriate for young children, but we want to avoid content that will offend younger members and/or their parents.
I'm pretty sure that the trailer will offend young members and/or their parents. And yes, they don't have to look at it, but let's say going on that assumption, you could post links to actual pornographic trailers and just add next to the link: 'YOU DON'T HAVE TO LOOK AT THIS".
I should probably clarify: if the trailer itself were something which would violate the rules of the site this would be a different issue, but the trailer Kinz posted is fairly PG-13. As long as there's a warning (which you were right to suggest), that type of material is acceptable. Anyone here under the age of 13 is violating the rules of the site (and COPPA)- we aren't obligated to censor the site for the benefit of that demographic.
I understand. I think for me, it's a matter of my personal views of pornography that make me feel so strongly, and I still do feel strongly about this incident, but as long as it abides by the rules at hand, there's nothing I can really do about it. And I do apologize for being a slight pain in this ordeal.
Anyways Chris, I, too, have been looking forward to Saving Mr. Banks, ever since I first heard about it. And now that I've seen the trailer, I know I'm gonna love this. At first, I too was pessimistic about the casting of Tom Hanks as Disney. But, I'm like "Eh, I'll leave it to the Oscar-winners."

This may be the first film I've been genuinely interested in seeing in theaters since The Master. It looks like it has a little piece of everything I've been contemplating for the last year, with the added bonus of Joaquin Phoenix and Spike Jonze.
