In other words, Walter, my hopes of The Hobbit "trilogy" being anything more than just another "holiday blockbuster" aren't going very strong. And if Weta suddenly decides to turn Part 3 into a 2-parter, I think that'll be it for me.
In other news, Dumb and Dumber 2, anyone? Yes, sadly, it's a thing now. While the plot to D&Der is original and hilarious, I don't think it really needs a sequel. It bugs me that Hollywood has to go and try to squeeze a sequel out of everything. I know, I know: it isn't the filmmakers' intention to actually get filmgoers to like it. It's only for the money.
