Arsenic and Old Lace

Great movie. Cary Grant was awesome. Now I want to animate a character and try to get his double takes and little fits and stuff.

The Secret of NIMH

I don't know if I ever saw this one, because if I did, it must have been years ago because I barely remember it. Anyways, an oldie but a goodie. I think the introduction of a "villain" and supernatural elements towards the end sort of spoiled the more grounded (and better) first half, but otherwise, a very enjoyable film. Also, I really liked the character of Mrs. Brisby. We get the sense that she really is just an ordinary person (err, mouse) of no particular heroic attributes thrust into an overwhelmingly dire situation, and I think that's what made her such a compelling heroine.

The Proposition
Incredible western. Best one I've seen for a while.

And an awesome soundtrack, especially the beginning.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yeah, Nick Cave does good music. He also wrote the screenplay, which is pretty cool.

EDIT: True Grit
Amazing, loved it. One of the Cohen brothers' better films, IMO.

Toy Story 3

Nice way to to end the trilogy, although it's to American like corny to me and overrated for it's praise, I have more love with the previous 2 parts.

Spoiler (click to read)

Although Spanish Buzz and Borito Potato head are wins!

Life in a Day

Saw this broadcasted live on YouTube from the Sundance film festival. I really enjoyed it. Would never have expected a film with such a 'plot' like this to turn out so well. The editors did an amazing job.

True Grit
Of course one ive been waiting to see
A great Coen brother's film
Of course Rooster's slang was at parts a bit overdone
The perspective gave a unique taste with the narrative dark feel of the movie

The Green Hornet

Pretty damn good, I was surprised. Funny, action-packed, a little plot-twist, what more could you ask for?
Still I wasn't paying much attention to the movie because I was on a date. ;D

Død Snø
Super awesome Nazi-zombie fun

True Grit (1969)
Not nearly as good as the new one. I couldn't really connect with the characters at all.

What an epic. Almost four hours long but it feels like two.

Frankenstein
Crazy, am I?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

KICK-ASS

The movie itself is called like one of the best of 2010 but I really honestly doubt it. I mean really it has it's good moments but overall the ending was too unrealistic so from a story when a simple mortal dude is trying to be a superhero the story turned into some superhero/kill bill mixed flick which was just too much....
