The Departed
This movie is so good. I don't know how anyone could possibly stop watching after an opening sequence with: Jack Nicholson, Rolling Stones music that is directed by Scorsese.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Alien - Resurrection
This whole resurrection thing was really stupid. Quite entertaining though.
That Ripley-Alien-hybrid in the end behaved like a little dog(except it killed a few people).

The Green Hornet
Surprisingly good fun. I wouldn't say it's a good movie, but it wasn't awful either.
Plus, Christoph Waltz!

Inception
I loved it!
One of the best films I've seen in a while.

Don't bother with the sequel. Trust me.

EDIT: Actually, to be fair, it was alright.

Well I've watched the Jeepers Creepers sequel (Jeepers Creepers 2) yesterday and it was alright. Lots of action, more Creeper on-screen time, although the ending is pretty stupid, I don't wanna spoil the ending but heck it has a lack of logic.

Black Swan
Great movie to see with the family.

The Hole (2010)
Great film. Quite 'jumpy', a good sort of kids horror.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Igby Goes Down

Pretty good, but the concept feels sorta "been there, done that."

Being John Malkovich

Brilliant in a twisted, surreal sort of way. Surely one of the most unique movies I've seen in some time.

Exit Through the Gift Shop

Wonderful documentary, both entertaining and deeply fascinating.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Astro Boy

This isn't the best film I've ever seen. Not the worst, but not the best either.

Jackie Brown

It was good I guess, I don't really know how to explain what I thought about it. I don't really feel compelled to see more of Quentin's work now, not my thing 'is all. Though I still really want to see Pulp Fiction. This was very well cast though, I'll say that. Samuel L. Jackson is the original G.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I didn't really like Jackie Brown, to be honest. Don't let it put you off his work, though. His films are amazing.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Re-watched Roman Holiday over the weekend; haven't seen it in years.

It still reminds me of It Happened One Night, which is a detraction, but am still impressed by the subtelty and the ending.

Jackie Brown is kinda laidback. Definitely at least see Pulp Fiction and Inglourious !@#$%^&* before you make up your mind on his style.

I Know What You Did Last Summer
Pretty predictable and trashy, but still good fun.

I find Jackie Brown one of his better works, even after multipale viewings, just the scenes with beaumont and Samuel Jackson, and Pam Grier.
And the awesome assembled soundtrack.

Jackia Brown is awesome.

12 angry men
Wow! Great movie, all the acting was great. The whole movie is just 90 minutes of continuing dialogue and it's done really great.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Agreed, I just watched 12 Angry Men on television a few days ago. It is quite the inspiring movie.

Two days ago I watched Moon. I think Sam Rockwell does a good job acting seeing as he is basically the only actor in the movie.
