Zodiac
Woah. Really great film. Though I think I preferred Fight Club and Se7en. But still, woah.

I'm a fan of so-bad-it's-good kind of movies, but I thought zombie strippers was just so bad it's bad.

So-bad-it's-good films are great. There's something about watching a real piece of !@#$ that just can't be matched by normal films. Then there's the occasional so-bad-it's-a-masterpiece. Plan 9 comes to mind.
It's an artform.

Exactly, but IMO  Zombie Strippers was the Batman & Robin type.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Fight Club
I saw this movie not knowing anything about it. Even though everyone I know who has seen it hated it the first time watching it, I actually really really enjoyed it. The writing for this was excellent, and the twist was totally unexpected, at least for me.

How To Train Your Dragon
Saw it at the cinema when it first came out, loved watching it again. It had a great balance of comedy and action, one of my favourite animated films, along with Shrek, Up and Toy Story. Dreamworks did a fantastic job, especially the animation, the water looked perfect.
I still find it weird how Toothless seems to behave exactly like my dog.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

AVATAR

It's weird that it took me so long to check out this movie. I do not know why but I though it's gonna suck and when I watched it I was like "WOW!" mini/eek  a great movie I gotta say! In my opinion it's no better than "There Will Be Blood" or "The Wrestler" (cause those are one of my favorite movies) but I gotta say AVATAR is very enjoyable and it's a must-watch mini/bigsmile

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Due date
p.s. awesome movie

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Star Wars: The Original Trilogy
Classic.

300 Spartans
Pretty good.

The Mummy: Tomb of the dragon emperor
Wtf. Where's Imhotep? THE Mummy. He's not in in the movie. The new Evy was just an annoying turd with a smile and Jet Li looks delightful with a moustache. And what's with all the stupid jokes?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I just watched:

Gran Torino
Wow, I was blown away. One of the best movies I've seen in a while. There are some great insults and one-liners, but also the story is fantastic stuff. I've never really liked Clint Eastwood, but this movie I would recommend to anyone. It has quite an unexpected, beautiful ending, which is pretty moving too.

EDIT: 'Torino' has two Os.

Cats Don't Dance
An immensely enjoyable film, and I loved it. The characters were great, and I absolutely loved the animation.
This is now on my favorite films list.

The Iron Giant
Another awesome film, I loved it.

Red
Slick and enjoyable, but not particularly noteworthy to me. I liked the way the editing was very comic book-esque. Also, John Malkovitch was highly entertaining. I like that man.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

True Grit
The conclusion seemed pretty abrupt, something just didn't feel right about it. Regardless, it was still an excellent film.

The Green Hornet
I dunno, it didn't really grab me. I thought it was supposed to be a comedy.

Forrest Gump

They really don't make movies like this anymore.

I remember that one... I thought it's gonna be an average movie though in the end I had to agree it was definitely above any average movie. Clint did a good job.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

EXPENDABLES

Alright... what can say.... well there were a bunch of action movie superstars right? And there were.... oh wait there was nothin' more. No proper storyline, character development. If it wasn't for celebrities this movie would've sucked....

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Sounds about right. It was, to say the least, over-hyped.

Personally I thought it was awesome. If you expect depth and complex characters then you won't enjoy it, but if you take it for what it is; a fun, corny, kick-ass action movie with way too many action stars in it, you can have a good time watching it.
"Buda-pest". Hilarious.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The ShawShank Redeption
By far the best movie I've ever seen in my life.

Also, the story was very touching and how he got of prison was amazing.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Oh, I want to see that movie really bad.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Plan 9 from outer space
So amazingly awesome.

Stephen Hawkins: Master of the universe
Very interesting documentary, you can see the whole thing on YouTube.

The Haunted world of Ed Wood
It's not a very good documentary, but if you like Ed Wood, you'll like this.

Kid Vengeance
Entertaining spaghetti western, Lee Van Cleef was cool as always.
