The Pilgrim's Son

Part 1, YouTube
Part 2, YouTube

This is the final film with my Pilgrim characters. It takes place 5 years after the previous film, Derwin and Helen have had a son named Miles and there is another child on the way. But danger is lurking about, for an evil spiritualist of the nearby Pokanoket tribe foresaw doom upon the land unless Miles was sacrificed to the spirit of a mighty storm. Hobamok, a follower of the spiritualist, vows to find the child and sacrifice him to the spirit of the storm. Meanwhile, Derwin sets out to find some Red Bass for Helen, since it is unwise to deny a pregnant woman something that she's craving. Trust me!

Viewers don't have to watch my previous Pilgrim films to understand this one, but a familiarity with the previous stories will enhance the enjoyment of this final film. Especially since I included some parallels and nods to the first film.

Here are the links for my four previous films in the Pilgrim's saga:

This is personally my greatest Lego short I've ever made and I hope everyone enjoys watching. Happy Thanksgiving!

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

loved it! you totally earned a sub. i love how you made the effects manually instead of using the computer generated ones (i live how you made the river flood! AMAZING!!!) 15/10 stars!

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

That was wonderful. A great ending to a great series. This is one of my favourite brickfilms. Wonderful job. mini/smile

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

That was awesome man. The river scene was a beaut and the slapstick comedy was extremely funny.
One small thing that I didn't feel right was the highlights of the kids life being in pictures only, if there were small animated scenes in place of the pictures that would have made it, but I understand life is short mini/tongue .

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

I never watched the pilgrims series before, but I'm happy I did now. They're all great. And I loved this one.

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

This is absolutely fantastic. It's inspired me to do a medieval type brickfilm. Also, you call a 20 minute brickfilm short?

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

A lovely yearly series, though this is the first time I've watched it, I'm currently stricken with the fact that I've never watched these before.

Re: The Pilgrim's Son

Brilliant. I as always your plasticine-LEGO integration is as perfect as ever and, I'll admit it, that I was on the verge of tears. I laughed, I cried, I was left feeling like I'd completed something wholly worthwhile.

That doesn't happen often.
