Re: Brickfilm classics

What? No one has mentioned Dr. Jobs and His Scary Laboratory: Part 1?! I am ashamed of all of you. >:<

I think that MooCJ's "Framed" could be a classic in a few years.

Aladibababad is a classic too, I believe. I love it's humor, and it was actually a film I laughed at. I also think that The Dandelion will be a classic. I personally think it believe it deserves better praise, but I'm just saying.

Since the LEGO Beer Song was the first LEGO Muuvey I ever saw (although its not that bad) I do consider it classic simply due to the nostalgic days before I could Brickfilm and when I fantasied about creating nostalgic movies about stories I enacted from my childhood. The Golden Days before I realised that I hardly have enough time to film, that Youtube is filled with brainless squids, that copyright rules the world, that forrestfire101 exists, and that Brickfilming can be the most enjoyable and the most frustrating hobby ever at the same time.

I have a lot of bad Youtube LEGO Muuveys that suck in comparison to the Brickfilming Greats, but are nostalgic to me.

Oh, and I know this was months ago, but:

All of the Mr Socially Impaired episodes are classics, they go into great detail with their characters, the plots have lots of twists and turns, and there's never anything to unbelievable.

The Magic Portal is the REAL classic here olol

The Pilgrim's Son will become a classic in a few years.

Re: Brickfilm classics

It's an instant classic, I don't understand why does it have to wait some years.

Yeah, I love The Dandelion. It definatley deserves more attention.

Zombie Attack II: No More Room in Hell is a classic too, IMO. Also, Alien Parasites is a classic, due to the sheer awesomeness and psychedelicness that oozes from every frame. I can't wait for Zombie Attack III: And Thou Shalt Kick Ass and Alien Parasites: Part 2.

Re: Brickfilm classics

Basically, every B-Movie in Bricks is awesome. They are created with so much love and knowledge to a genre that I also love. Every single frame of animation bleeds with win.

Y'know what's classic? Those 80's (I think) stop-motion LEGO Studio commercials. Aw yeah.

Re: Brickfilm classics

Sorry if someone already said, but The Letter was one of the first I ever saw.

Could someone give me a link to "About A Door"?

Re: Brickfilm classics

Mmm... I'm not really sure...
There are a lot of ways people use the word classic. So it's really rather hard to say. xD
Bit something that's classic, at least to me, would be Monty Python and the Holy Grail in LEGO. It was the first brickfilm I ever saw, and since then I've watched it dozens of times through the years. Another one would be Average Death Star Day. It was another one of the first I saw.
