Re: Café Corner
Wow, a great example of excellent set design coupled with people who don't understand photography or movies, it looks unbearable.
I thought the same!

Yeah... It is a shame really. What look to be very nice sets coupled with rather poor lighting, framing, etc, etc...
Galactic, If you use Acid Pro as well, I love to create loops in Fruity Loops and save them as wav files, thne insert them into acid pro projects.
The "B-side" to my Club Dub CD single (2007) is called "Mesopotamia/Ethics" (or the other way around). It's the lyrics of the B-52s "Mesopotamia" to the tune of Front 242's "Ethics". I bill it as "The B50 Front 242s". The point is that I made some nice bass loops with Fruity Loops and assembled them in Acid. I also did that to the bassline in the MySpace remix of my "Michael Bay Sucks" song.
A tripod! I thought it was lost gone. At first I thought my old telescope made its way into the shed from my attic. I'm going to have to try it out on Lego sometime!
Great to hear, though this really belongs in Cafe Corner and doesn't really merit a whole thread to itself.
Mod edit: moved to Cafe Corner.
Okay, Jampot! Keep me in line whenever I goof!
Does anyone have this minifig head?
It came from King Leo from the 2000 Knight's Kingdom line. I need to get a picture of it so I can make a vector of it for a film. If anyone has the head, would you mind taking a picture of it straight-on at a high quality and PMing me or posting it on this topic?
Thanks.
I don't have one, sorry.
But I really want some help with this problem I have:
Does anyone know how to animate a 15 FPS diagonal walk-cycle?
I was planning to use my usual trick of building an off camera thing to make it really easy, but I'd like to do a much wider shot as well, and for that I need a true diagonal cycle.
But if I can't find one, I could just settle for shooting it differently.
I've done a diagonal run, but not a walk.
You say it's a wide shot, how well can you hide clay on his/her feet? That should make things easier.
The worst part is the uneven studs causing the figure to wiggle side-to-side a lot. Sometimes I've balanced the figure on top of the studs instead of actually connecting it, and that helps some.
Deep in the back of the garage.
A lot of junk has been shifted around the garage lately due to the documentary, sorting and garage door repairs.
Came across a box full of assorted office supplies and papers. A couple of the notebooks were found among the mix.
There's one more that's yet to be found. (Rough ideas for MM III, P&P Political Speeches, etc.)
Not really worried about that one. Mostly incomplete scrips and silly ideas during the political days of the old site.
At this point, it has a good chance of turning up sooner or later.
The notebook with the complete MMII script was the important one.
So happy it's found now.
Er…might have to take out that one line that had a Joan Rivers joke in it.
I've finally got my studio set up the way I want it! I will now do all of my animating on a dedicated computer, a Lenovo Tiny (the black Wii lookalike, on the bookcase), with the monitor attached to the wall. This gives me a lot of desk space and allows me to easily look at Dragonframe. Previously, I had turn turn almost completely around to see my primary desktop monitor, which was extremely disruptive. Now I can hopefully animate with ease.
Nice. Having a big screen to look at must be useful. I still have to look at my camera screen.
Glad to see, Nathan! BTW, lovely Minecraft sword .

And here I am, thinking that me using a 5-year old DSLR is fancy...
That's a really nice setup, must make animating a lot easier.

I do have that head (I have two, in fact). I should be able to take a picture soon, though I'll probably be too busy for a day or two. Though, both of the heads I own do have some wear, particularly the "line" on the lower part of the face that tends to form on older heads.
I feel sorry to be totally inactive here...
I know I'm missing a lot of great stuff.
Hope the community is in good shape.

Looks great! I was just curious as to what type of table you are using. I am currently on the hunt for a new animating table or desk, for that matter.

Don't be too hard on yourself.;)
On my personal note, I cannot wait for Summer! It was -10 below here today and I froze! Plus two calves were born yesterday . Why the heck do the cows have to have their calves on the coldest stinkin day of the year!

I'm still not done with my film.
I still won't be done with it for a while.
Have you been busy with other things or have you just been staying on the French site more recently?
