@END films
Those look great, love the second one.
One from a film coming (hopefully) soonish.
I really love the depth this shot has to it. Those trees at the sides really add to it.
I feel like the shot should be more symmetrical, though. It looks kinda close to being very straight on, but it's the slightest bit off, which bug me a little bit.
Also, that bench isn't very good. The legs start it off as a wooden bench, but then you have that white plate, which seems unfitting. It's also slightly too high to look natural, and it feels like it needs a backboard.
It also feels weird that the dirt for the flowers is popping out of the ground. It might have looked a little nicer had you covered the entire baseplate with green plates as to make most of the ground, the path, and the flower dirt all level.
I intended to to make it not quite symmetrical to make the scene seem less set up but I know what you mean about the flowers and the bench. Thanks for the feedback Squid!
Animation Issac: Very pleasant shot, but I LIKE the slight asymmetry of it. I agree that the trees frame the scene nicely.
Here's a frame from Holding Our Own, Episode 3:
It was hard getting the cell to be at an angle and stable.
Hope you enjoy it!
@AnimationIsaac Love the set and the "Toothwell" poster in the background.
Here are a few pictures from my upcoming films storyboard; this time I decided I would take quick photos of each shot I would use instead of drawing it all out.
@animationIsaac The frame looks really cool, but like Squid said, that bench is pretty weird. Really nice frame though.
@HoldingOurOwn That's pretty good. Is that like a police station?
Cool frames, Gilbert!
HoldingOurOwn: That's really nice. The colors are really pleasant and simple, and the angled cell adds a sort of sense of illusion to it.
Gilbert: Good idea, but it would probably only work with less complex films. Anyway, nice frames, they all look very peaceful.
HoldingOurOwn, your sets are getting better and better; the angled cell looks really good.
Here is a frame from a movie I will hopefully have done by Easter. I have not actually started filming this scene yet, I was just wanting to know if the lighting was appropriate for an evening setting.
Thanks .

Really cool frame. The lighting does work very well.
Holding, I'd have to give you the most improved award for set building.
I'm not brickfilming anymore because of time (or lack thereof) but that doesn't mean I haven't been working on anything! These stills are from a film I am making called La Vie En Rose.
These two are from test shoots (as you can see I'm holding a script in one and the other is out of focus) but I'm really proud of these. We have yet to reshoot these scenes.
look at dat lens flare (rEAL OMG)
nltwm: The lighting looks great!
topitmunkeydog: You make me want to go out and make a movie. Now I need to find myself some friends who are committed to what they love. Some plain old friends would suffice, I suppose...
