I think you guys are taking this way too far. It's obvious that some of you are just using this as an excuse to debate. Just chill and wait for things to settle down. Seriously, just calm down.

My "coding suggestions" are for your benefit. I have a serious interest in Brickfilming as well as the site, I want to contribute to both topics as much as possible. I'm working on a Brickfilm and it will be released soon, so don't worry.
Oh, I know you are only trying to help, I sounded really ticked off by your suggestions earlier though, I wanted to explain this. There was quite a lot of circumstantial evidence that led to the Aled theory and we didn't take asking you about it lightly but didn't have a better option, so I didn't want there to be hard feelings over it.
No I am not using this as an excuse to debate. I just want to ensure that the 'spirit' in which this new community was created isn't lost. If I see something I am passionate about potentially at risk then I speak my peace. Wouldn't you hate something to be taken from you and then regret later that you said nothing.
I am glad to see that the recent comments by Smeagol et al seem to placate my initial concerns. I hope that they don't lose sight of the original vision that this new community was based on.
As long as this doesn't turn into a dictatorship then I am happy, I left BF for those very reasons as I am sure a lot of others did to. I would hate to see this site go the same way in the future.
It is good that we have these threads, it lets everyone see both sides and allows those with intelligence to seek a middle ground and ensure that we continue as we meant to from the start.
I agree, threads like these should not be squashed, though having so many...passionate discussions can be tiring and wear one down after a while. I know I have "discussion fatigue" right now.
I just hope it can be made clear that "not a democracy" =/= "dictatorship". As stated by several, Brickfilms.com probably operated it's best and smoothest when it consisted of RevMen and a select number of chosen moderators and other specialists. BricksInMotion will never turn its back on the community.

O.K. we changed the logo, but the little icon on the left side of the address still features a minifig.
It's called a favicon.
I'm sure it will be updated once we all settle on the final logo.
I still think its missing something, but what?

I don't think the logo's that bad. The shape itself is perfectly fine but the colors are a bit cold. It could use a little red/yellow/orange.
I think it needs more spark in the logo, this new logo is so drab it's painful.
More colours would be much better, I also find the reel is sort of strange looking,
I think it should be a bit taller, like in the old one, buildings should be in the background and
lights flashing off.
Rest assured, folks, we are working on a solution and hope to have a new logo in place soon.

Naw, I mentioned it in the film directory thread. But yes, it's place. We went through a lot of feedback and changes to get it to this point, but hopefully this will be a logo that is similar enough in style to the original and colorful enough to match the rest of the site.
The Events button covers the Post-it-note for me.
