The GOOD NEWS UPDATE is that I did the very difficult church scene, including the really difficult communion scene.  I will try to upload a few pics to my tumblr page in the next few days!  Don't forget to read the confirmed titles for eps 3 through 6 a few posts above this one!

Yes, it's been very exciting!  I'm really looking fwd to episode 4, which is my favorite story so far.  Also, Brick 7, episode 6's script is finished except for a few minor adjustments, and I'll have to get it out to you to review!

Just finished some nice animation, featuring one of Holding Our Own's famous "Couch jumping" scenes.  I designed the set before shooting episode 1 with the furniture too close together for the characters to get on and off in the traditional way.  So I have the characters walk behind the couch and jump on and of it whenever they sit/get up. I always add a Hanna-Barbera sound effect with it and follow it with a laugh.  I'll be re-shooting the police station scene very soon.

If you have any Qs about the backstory, the town of Bremen, or character details, post a reply.  There's been a well-developed backstory.  FOr instance: Melissa's birthday is August 8th, 1993.  It ties in to the next episode (4).

End films, I was being tongue-in-cheek!  I should have said, "Fame-less".

Animation is at the 2/3 point again!  Will be shooting the police station scene soon.  I'm proud to have Amanda Allbee, from Joe Brickmond, provide the voice of the secretary at the police station!

Animation is between 75 and 78% complete!  I'll resume post-production soon, and begin animating episode 4 concurrently.  There are some pix I want to post up on the tumblr page to show how things are looking, and maybe something behinds the scenes.  Keep an eye out!

One Acme scene and a little bit more and it's a wrap on animation.  I spend nights processing and sorting the thousands of frames (I think there are 6000 to 7000 frames in all!)  Audio is almot all ready, but there is a scene where Brent and Melissa are watching TV and I'm thinking of having Andy Social of the punk band The Sheckies and Andy Social & The Antidotes to do a Stan Lee voice as part of the background show.  I've got this funny line that's not in the script and it's perfect for filling in that small void.  While in post-production, I'm going straight into animating episode 4!

The theme for episode 3 is: Be open to dissenting opinions, and be respectful and civil to those you disagree with.

That's right... animation is complete and now I'm just going through the mess that I have an getting ready to turn it all into animation.  the story is in 4 segments and the first one is complete.  That's good because it's the longest one, about 11 minutes.  The remaining three segments are about 14 minutes combined.

Episode 3:
1) Processing- 80% complete
2) Animate frames: 50% complete
3) Sound FX: 25% somplere
4) Reduce Light Flicker: ? complete
5) Render: 0% complete.
