Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

Hmm...     I dont really understand the theme , can someone explain it for me? Okay I understand that , it´s interactive "adventure".
PS. I´m from finland ( voisiko joku suomalainen suomentaa?)

EDIT: Okay! Now I understand theme mini/smile Thank for all who not reply mini/smile

I'll see what I can whip up my October.

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

Ok, so I have started (while ago). This is going to be crazy! :-} I am already having fun making huge sets and a complex story.

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

QC9000 refuses to install on my new computer because it says it doesn't run on Windows 7... mini/rolleyes
Now I'll have to find a camera to film this.

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

You should contact Logitech. I have a Windows 7 computer and it installed just fine.

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

I'll take another look at the specs I guess. The new computer I got is much more powerful than my old one, so I'm wondering whether it might be too powerful for the camera, if it's even possible.

Thanks for the advice Mighty Wanderer, I never thought of that. mini/smile

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

Check Logitech's website and make sure you have the right drivers. I imagine the ones bundled with the camera were made for Vista (although they should work regardless, you never know). Anyhow, there's no reason to go looking for another camera just yet.

I'll probably be entering this, sounds fun. mini/smile

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

I am sorry if this is already answered, but I dont have a pc I can use
for the moment and it was a bit hard to read all the posts...
My question is:
Since we are two brothers, I am 14 and my brother will be 11, we both animate
so I wondered which age group would be best to enter? It would be my age group, right?

I need a new name! HELP

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

And I went to all that trouble posting a FAQ in the first thread...

The answer to your question is in the first post of this thread in the FAQ section. Click on "Collaborations."

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

One question. Once the contest is finished, can we upload all of the short videos, and then an entire version with all the videos?

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

I would think that after the deadline, you can do whatever you want with your videos.

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

Reviewing my script. Not sure whether I have left something out or not.

Re: BiM 2012: Kitchen Sink [CLOSED]

Does any one have any good ideas on how to plan an interactive video? I'm struggling to get my ideas down in a way that works mini/smile

I'd be glad to help you organize your ideas, but I'm not sure if I allowed to do that and still be able to do my own entry. It may count as a "Collaboration," but if not, I'll help.

Pritchardstudios- helping a fellow member get it together is fine. When you start animating, writing the story, and editing then we have a collaboration. Help around here is appreciated.

Thanks Jared!

Legomoviemaker1, shoot me a PM with the ideas and I'll see what I can do.  mini/wink

IMO, drawing a flowchart is the best way to plan out all the different "story paths" the film could take. Also, it doubles as a checklist for when your animating and writing.
