Haha those are really nice! I especially like the proper Michael Bay one.
@Sean This one's my favorite so far. I like the small scratch marks as they do add a little something. Maybe using the expression of the older one on this one would look nice too!
Furthermore, I have made my second digital painting, a landscape. I hope you guys like it and as usual, constructive feedback is appreciated:

Whoa, Kees. That's pretty freaking good. Reminds me of one of my Granddad's watercolour paintings; a panorama of mountains with a forest at its feet. But, your painting is really good!
A placeholder/preliminary logo for a game currently under development.

I really like it, but again, the 'o' in 'Coal' looks a little too much like the World of Goo logo. Just saying.
I assume you simply mean the character looks like a goo ball from WoG, as I don't believe the WoG logo has a goo ball in it. And that's fair, I'll take that back to the dev team.
Sorry my mistake, to clarify, it looks like the application's icon (on Mac at least), and the goo ball too, see: https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/world-o 4107?mt=12
Being that the app's icon IS a goo ball... I don't think there's a need to differentiate
But yes, I know what you mean. Thanks!

Maybe if the "O" was on fire or something.

I drew one of my characters from Riigo-Faloo.

This is Elobel. She's a young robot clown adventurer, but despite her extremely obvious synthesized voice and her habit of phrasing things oddly, nobody ever notices that she's a robot. Not even Elobel herself or her sister Twilig knows.
Though I put her in as a random side character, I've started to think of her as my favourite character in the story. And I've thus made it so it's more centered around her and her adventures.
Because this is without colour, she comes off more as a goth rather than a clown (clowns and goths are races born with oddly coloured skin as apposed to wearing makeup). Her eyes are a vivid emerald, her hair is a shiny lavender, and her marks are a deep dark lavender.
I based her mostly off of Sweetie Bot from Friendship is Whichcraft who is based off of Sweetie Belle from My Little Pony.
Hmm, interesting. I like the hair, it reminds me of a jester cap. What part does Elobel play in the story? Also, if she's a robot, surely she's been built instead of being born with oddly-coloured skin? And even if she wasn't told she was a robot, surely she would realize that she was one because she wouldn't need to sleep, eat, breathe, wouldn't get injured easily, etc.? And if she was programmed to ignore these things or implanted with false memories, wouldn't others around her notice?
Also, if Faloovian clowns are a race rather than a profession, does that mean all clowns are, for want of a better word, forced to be entertainers rather than choosing to do so, or are there loads of "rogue clowns" who go around and do lots of un-clownish things, or are the clowns solely classified by appearance?
Sorry for all of the really long and random questions... for some reason I have tendency to ask lots of these at times. Anyway, it's a nice drawing.
Thank you. ![]()
I actually enjoy answering questions, though.

She's the sister of Twilig, who's an important clown (a real clown). She joins up with the adventurer college, but gets caught up in all sorts of random trouble which leads her to becoming a big part of the story eventually.
Besides her voice, whoever or whatever constructed her made her remarkably similar to a real clown. She does breath, eat, and even sleep. She was made as a baby, but was designed to slowly grow over the years. She is even detailed to the point that she could be infected to be a zombie, vampire, or werewolf. To cover up the voice, though, she just has an enchantment so people won't notice. Much like a perception filter from Doctor Who. Though, a vampire is capable of telling that her scent is artificial, and cannot feed from her.
The questions of why and how she came to be are meant to be mysteries to be revealed as the story progresses.

A clown doesn't always take up the usual clown profession, most of them aren't that type of clown. For instance Elobel goes to Ouskavar's College of Adventurers so that she can become and adventurer one day, which is not frowned upon by other clowns.
There are clown cooks, traders, smiths, doctors, wizards, and all other sorts. Otherwise, they wouldn't really be able to keep everything working.
Their clown nature is more seen in the personality, culture, and daily life of a typical clown. They may not all have a profession in entertainment, but they all maintain a humorous nature, making jokes, wearing bright clothes, doing ridiculous stuff, and clowning around no matter what job they have.
Rigo-faloo reminds me a lot of Adventure Time in its intricacy.
You should make this happen. Write a book or something and get it sent to a cartoon studi0. This is all just too great.

Riigo-Faloo is based somewhat off of Adventure Time, along with My Little Pony, classic fairy tales, and Skyrim. Particularly the latter. I liked how the world seemed so detailed with random bits of lore and back story for so much stuff and I wanted to create something like that.
I'm not really sure how it is one submits television show ideas, but I'll try to figure that out eventually. The story needs more detail, and I don't want some random person taking it over and making an atrocity out of it. It would be very easy for someone to mess everything up in the story quite quickly.
I'm planning to spend my long trip to brickflix with some paper and a pen and work out details of vampire politics and perhaps the royal goblin family tree while I'm in the car.

Yo Squid, if you wanna figure out how to create a pitch for a cartoon series for a network, and all the stuff that goes into making it, read Joe Murray's Creating Animated Cartoons With Character. It's an extremely helpful book about everything you need to know about creating a TV show pitch, and what it takes to do it, and everything. It basically explains every single thing that goes on in the cartoon business from someone who has made 2 emmy award winning tv cartoons, and interviews loads of great people. Definitely check it out.
