I'm not a very good drawer, but I made a rough character concept design for a recent story idea. Her name is Octavia.

She wanders into a rather large house and becomes lost. In the house with her, she meets several other individuals who have also been lost in the house some for years, some even decades. Octavia joins up with some of them and they go off exploring the house to either find the exit or entertain themselves until they die of old age. They find a whole lot of weird stuff in there and go on wacky adventures.
omg she is so pretty
Is she based on Cello Pony?
Great story idea. Also you should try making a font

Not based upon cello pony. She just has the same name.
I cannot simply make a font for Rimtext, there are more than characters, so it wouldn't work well.

Today I and a mate put together the PAX Australia booth signage for the upcoming title "Robots Can't Jump".

Very nice! Love the retro-looking background grids.

I just did this thing when I saw that the average colour of the universe was found out to be the whitish-beige you see in most of the picture. The turquoise is what it was originally mistakenly thought to be. The beige is called ‘cosmic latte’, though I don’t see how that won out with a name like ‘cappuccino cosmico’ in the running.
(Or ‘univeige’, for that matter.)

My first thought was "Whoa, what's with the ugly colour combo?"
The backstory sold it to me. Nice job.
some more junk i drew

I love those, they're cartoonishly awesome. ![]()
I'm working on reskinning a game I made for a programming class a couple of years ago. Back then I used sprites I found online because we weren't being marked on making our own but now I'd like to display the game - so I'm creating all my own pixel art from the ground up.
From 2011:

The new menu screen so far:

Artwork for the new characters: Hansel and Gretel.

Oooooh, me likey! I love the pixel style, and the people (Hansel & Gretel, I assume) look fantastic too. Would you mind me asking, but what software do you use to create the landscape and people?
I'm starting to feel the need to play this game, so will it be publicly available? ![]()
I'm doing all the pixel art in Photoshop.
It'll be available to play at some point in the nearish future. I'll make a post when it is.
Okay, thanks for the info! I'll be looking forward to that point in the nearish future.
Threw together a preliminary icon design for Robots Can't Jump.
