Re: Batman First Encounter.

Got most of scene 3 filmed Tuesday night. Just waiting on lines to do the flashback sequence. Had my friend who voices for me helping me film and I must say the filming part go's by faster when there is two of you working together. Definitely a system I will employ more often upon his availability. Stay tuned.

Re: Batman First Encounter.

cool, will you be adding color grading and that? letterboxing?

Re: Batman First Encounter.

I gave truth to sweat and blood when you film last night.
As I was kneeling down to plug in my extension cord I did not realize how close one of the sets on the floor were to my left knee and I slid my knee down on top of the wall and off. Damn the pain.
Did not realize I was bleeding until I stood up and saw blood on the floor from where i was kneeling on my knee and then saw the big gash on my knee.
But being a real trooper I patched myself up then went onto film.

Re: Batman First Encounter.

the set is so dusty I suggest washing it down with a damp paper towel and then waiting for it to dry

Thanks bud. To late now but will definitely make sure of that in the future.

Re: Batman First Encounter.

A big old paint brush is better to clean sets with(leave it dry, dont wet it) just brush it and the dust goes running away

No I would never wet it down. I do happen to have a big brush though.

Re: Batman First Encounter.

ok, good, it works like a treat....

Re: Batman First Encounter.

Agreed. I just started doing that, and it makes the sets and minifigs look much better. Also, decent frame...very colorful. One thing that looks odd it that the bridge had a black floor, and the perimeter has a grey one. And the door has a red frame, with a surrounding blue wall. mini/confused

Re: Batman First Encounter.

It is called needing more bricks LOL.
I did not have enough bricks to do the scene all one colour so I had
to use more one then one color.

Re: Batman First Encounter.

This looks like an interesting project!  I just wanted to chip into say that since I got back on BiM I've been watching your films and they have really well developed story lines.  Makes you a good brickfilmer.  Good luck on this project!

Re: Batman First Encounter.

looks good man. like the sharpness...

Re: Batman First Encounter.

Clip 4 quality looks much better than in your Youtube videos now, why's that or is that just nicely cleaned props with nice angle etc.? mini/bigsmile
