I'm ok with any date. I'll be on holidays then for 8 weeks. Gotta love Australia =P
For the people that have voted for 17th/18th did you ever think of school? Because at this time teachers really pile on the homework to get it done before the break, and for the first week of school after the holiday break teachers usually don't pile you with work because them like us just got back from a holiday.
I break up for school on the 16th. So its perfect for me 
January 7th/8th would be best for me. Even though I don't have vacation in January, it would be nice to get some newer LEGO before THAC. That's the main reason of why I don't really want it before christmas. But if the majority of the site votes for 17th/18th because it's sooner/they have vaction, I'm fine with it.
I think I'll vote for the 17/18th, as that would be best for me. Even then, I'm not sure I can make it, as I leave school on the 17th and we might be going away on the 18th, but I'll vote for it just in case. It's a real shame, as last year I wanted to enter, but also couldn't because of dates. 
17/18th because 7/8th would be peeking into, or even the days right before a lot of us start back to school... no? 
My gosh, the 7/8th amd the 17th/18th ane pretty close together. I'm still rooting for the 7th and 8th though.
My school really sucks, we don't get out until the 23rd of December because they add like 5 no school days in September. And I have 3 major projects that are due. That's why I went for 7th/8th, also I was thinking of the LEGO.
I'm really for either. I know I'm gonna be doing something on the morning of the 18th but I doubt that would affect my entry as long as the starting time is the same as last year.

Can you possibly add another option: 27th/28th? That way people can use their new legos/computers/software and it is before most holidays' ends.
No, the whole idea is it's over a weekend so people with jobs can participate.

You know, I think you are being a bit immature with this post. People can vote for whatever they want, you seem to be promoting it. Sure you could say that I was, but really I was had a point to prove and your just saying, VOTE FOR WHAT I WANT. Now I know you aren't meaning to do that but it looks and sounds like it.
