17TH / 18TH because I break up for school on the 16th 
I can't do anything in January because of family-related issues. Being homeschooled, the date won't really matter, because I can just work a head to get the Friday before THAC off. But I'd prefer the 17th/18th of December.

7th and 8th because first off: More LEGO, second off: I hope to get a way better computer for Christmas.

So when exactly do we stop counting the votes?
In the past, we used to hold THAC on school days. That wasn't such a wise choice. If we aren't going to do it on the selected dates (i.e "before" or "after" choices), we should make sure it's not on a school day. Homework and strict parents will become great obstacles during our animating.:rolleyes:

This is true. In my house, until the HomeWork is done, no computer, TV, Brickfilms. Nothing. 
Well, I think that since it's holidays we could have it any day, not just weekends. In case there are parts of the world where there aren't holidays in that period, then no.
Anyway, my problem with it not being the 7th/8th is that I have school on saturdays, and that's the only date in the middle of holidays when I shouldn't have any problem.
I really hope I can enter this time.

Because at this time teachers really pile on the homework to get it done before the break, and for the first week of school after the holiday break teachers usually don't pile you with work because them like us just got back from a holiday.
WAIT! Nevermind, I like Dec. 17th/18th because I'm on break.
I know it's kinda a sacrifice because I was really looking forward to getting new Lego at Christmastime and using that though I just thought about it and the last time I stayed up a whole night, I slept through the entire afternoon of the next day. I can't do that if I have school. So yeah, I'm switching my vote.

Really? In my town, its the exact OPPOSITE. Before break, everyone but language teachers give next to no homework, since its the end of the quarter and they have to enter every ones grades into the grade book. Once we get back after Christmas break, thats when the homework's a' piling.
7th/8th of Jan. would be nice. As I am busy the 17th/18th of Dec. and I AM EXPECTING EVERYTHING TO CHANGE JUST FOR ME.
17th and 18th most definitely.
The 7th/8th would work best- but I can do it at any date so I don't really care when it's done.
I think the 7th/8th is better mainly because it's after Christmas when most people will have more LEGO. :u

I'm for the 7th and 8th. I have a HUGE school project due December 19th.
I always love THAC just a bit before Christmas. In all honesty I dont care which date it is held on.
