Topic: THAC 9 - When? [CLOSED]
With the Christmas season nearly upon us once again, so too is another Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest. There's normally a bit of deliberation over what the date should be, and it's normally the first weekend after New Year's, but this year it's a little more tricky.
A glance at your 2012 calendar will tell you that the weekends around that date are:
17th/18th
24th/25th (Christmas - no contest)
31st/1st (New Year's - no contest)
7th/8th
so the normal formula doesn't work here, as the first weekend after New Years is normally still just within the Christmas holidays. It is not so this year.
So the problem with the 17th/18th is that you won't be able to use all the cool new LEGO you're getting for Christmas (which is the reason we have it around Christmastime).
And the problem with the 7th/8th is that we're all back to school/work so staying up for 24 hours might not be a good idea.
So we're calling a vote. When would you like THAC 9 to be? Needless to say, the date with the most votes will almost certainly be the actual date (assuming we can get someone to run it on that date).
. Plus with school and everything I haven't brickfilmed since late September? I really so plan for THAC quite possibly being the last time I animate before Summer break
