Re: New emoticons.
There's a reason he's called Mr Green and not Mr Aqua, Littlebrick And I see no reason why emotes based on minifigures shouldn't have colours closer to minifig colours...
More coming up including and :fail:.

I never said it had to do with the color.
Then why not say what you think the problem IS, then...?

Here's a couple more, and :fail:.

Again, without trying to sound biased, I like the new Mr Green better.
Here's the updated :facemelt: and the face Littlebrick requested.

I don't really like the :lol emoticon you've got so far, it doesn't look quite right to me, it seems too slow and the face creeps me out. Here's my attempt:
It's a little like the original version but it is not the same.
-Sméagol
edit: I think the FAIL one would look better without the flattened face at the end, that just looks odd to me. Other than that it is quite nice.
I like it, Sméagol. I'll play around with :fail: a bit more.
I like most of your jaw-drop, but the squinty eyes look weird. Here's my take on it, plus an attempt at a swirly eyed one.

Here's my go at a "cool one. I think the hat on yours is too obscure.

I like these so far. I think that with a bit more work they may even be suitable for replacing the old ones (or at least warrant looking into the providing the option). I'd love to see some more work done on the and :lol emotes. The smiles on them just don't look quite right. Also, I'd love to see your take on a emote with out the outward slanting eyes (they'd just squint instead).
@ Schlaeps: you've seen this, right? It's similar to the original but IMHO it is an improvement on either of them.
Those are nice, I like the hat but I'm not sure about the face on that one. Maybe something like this?
I'm working on the party hat with confetti, so don't worry about recreating that one.
Coming right up, Schlaeps! I'm glad to hear they may actually be taken into consideration as forum emotes! Although i don't see anything wrong with ... Could you tell me in more detail what you think is wrong with it? Also, Sméagols is pretty damn fine. I think it's an improvement on both mine and the old one. The updated is below.
Sméagol, try making the cool one with the back sunnies from
Here's a round up of all of the emotes so far that I think are worth using, just to make them easier to find.

Added some newer emotes.

One of the things I miss is the head slamming into a wall emoticon (Similar to the facepalm idea).
Nicely done Sméagol. I'll work on the wall one.
Fair enough. I like your part hat emote, but I'd like to tweak a couple of minor things on it once I finish the wall emote.

Here's the wall.
- edit, again -
I edited your party emote to have a bit more shine on the hat, to smooth out the frames where he's breathing in and to have a bit of a cheek when he's blowing out.

That looks great! Though I think he may be pausing just a bit too long when he hits the wall.
I think if I hit my head against a wall hard enough to smash bits of my skull in, I'd pause for a moment as well
Here's one that pauses for a tiny bit less.
I think I'll work on a spam one now.
