No shuddap he has good prizes.

EDIT: Yes, I should've shut up.

EDIT 2: You also shouldn't quote your own nonsense if you don't want people to see it.

I agree with what KG said. Also, prizes.

I do not care about your opinion, unless it has to do with it needing more ponies.

Why are we so racist towards Megablocks?  I feel like we're two steps away from putting on cloaks and getting our lynch mob on.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

I probably won't be entering.

I have some of those type bricks, but I find that they are difficult to animate. A lot of the joints are loose and don't stay up.

Also, the prizes are Mega Bloks, which aren't quite exactly my cup of tea...

Not trying to be rude, just not going to enter.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

Whoops! Sorry about the rudeness/harshness. I wasn't thinking right.

I shouldn't have posted anything. I forgot about not posting on topics with subjects I dislike.
I guess I didn't know that not all Lego fans hate Mega Blocks.
It sure looked that way for the first few posts. Then the tables suddenly turned against me!

I'll just leave this topic alone now.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

Just looked on the Wal-Mart website for Halo sets. I think I'll shell out $20 for doubles of this set http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mega-Brands-H … e/14528815 by the end of the week.

It'd probably be smart for me to get it done before my summer break ends. mini/tongue

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

I, too, echo KG's statement. Seriously, guys, talk about rude (not to mention what an opportunity this could represent, which you're so quick to turn down). mini/no

Personally, I think the contest sounds fairly intriguing, though unfortunately, I think I'm going to be fairly busy around that time (also, I, too, am without Halo Mega Bloks). Though I do wish you good luck with the contest, hope some good entires are submitted.

EDIT: Looking at those prizes, I may actually consider entering.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

I've gotta say, those are some sweet prizes (specifically the T3i). Unfortunately I do not own any Halo sets, so I don't think I'll be able to enter this mini/sad

Canon T3i, Macbook Pro, and Toon Boom software.

I'm not quite sure those prizes are Mega Bloks.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

Damn, these prizes are awesome. I'll try to enter for sure.

Those are some great prizes. I'll be entering. B^)

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

It seems like a good contest. Is there a specific theme or something?
I don't think I will enter anyway, I'm already busy with multiple projects, and all I have of megablock are some old castle-themed figs and dragons, plus some walls from a castle (and btw, despite from what some people here say, they're not bad after all).

Also, what's going on with the trolling, guys? That's not the way to say welcome to a new member.

Edit: wow, those prizes are definitely worthy. I would have liked to be able to enter.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

Great prizes, but I don't have any MEGA BLOCKS. I'd be entering otherwise. Shouldn't this be in General film section, though? Most non-BiM contests are posted there.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

I might enter, have some mega blocks. Might buy some more.

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

I was skeptical at first, but I would looove to have some of those prizes, and I have no bias against Mega Bloks. I can see if I can throw something together.

Utterly disappointing, guys, show some respect.

As the site admin, I'm sorry about the responses from some of our younger members!  Looks like a good competition, thanks for sharing it with us!

Re: Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Video Contest [CLOSED]

Seems to be a fantastic contest. With the kind of prizes you fellows are offering, it's hard not to consider entering.

Remember guys, this is a site dedicated towards making animations with plastic blocks, regardless of the company making them. We shouldn't be hostile toward someone who is kind enough to give us the heads-up on a very nice contest just because we may harbor some sort of resentment toward the product they represent.

And, let's be frank here: I can't recall LEGO ever running a film-making contest with prizes this great. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
